About
Deer Valley Golf Course offers a challenging game that will test golfers of all skill levels. The course has a beautiful rolling terrain with over 800 palm trees sprinkled throughout, providing a nice landscape but they can also affect shots since they border nearly all of the greens on the golf course. There are also sand bunkers that guard some of the greens, which are large, undulating, and oftentimes difficult to read. In addition, five of the greens are double-tiered. Ten ponds are situated on the course, coming into play on five holes. There are also some dogleg fairways to add to the difficulty at Deer Valley.

Another Sun City Track
Pretty much how Sun City courses go. Nothing really bad; nothing really stellar. The greens were solid. I don't think they've been punched yet.
The staff was great. Really friendly. Good people.
It's inhabited by Sun City folk, and they're good people. But they've mostly got their own carts and coolers, so the rental carts have zero coolers, and that equals the amount of beverage carts on the course. So amenities are byoc. Come prepared or expect to be parched.
In The Swing Of Things
Nice full length course that will challenge you with length, water, and sand.
Great time
Course was well taken care of the fairways were wide open easy to play great time and just like the website says if you’re trying to go for your personal best, this would be a great course
They don’t support youth golf
I booked a tee time at Deer Valley Golf Course for myself and my two sons (ages 9 and 7), who play with me regularly, are skilled for their age, and always keep up with the pace of play. Unfortunately, the course refused to allow them to play simply because of their age, showing zero flexibility or willingness to support junior golfers. It’s disappointing to see a course turn away young players who are the future of the game instead of encouraging them. We’ll be taking our business to courses that actually welcome and promote youth golf.
