About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Golfer Reviews
The Fourth was sick with Covid
I did book for 4, I arrived early to the course, told them my fourth had Covid and could not make it and didn’t want to get others sick.. course charged my card for the fourth.. that is pretty crappy and not smart , trying to keep others safe.. us, staff and other golfers as well. Most people are that course are older.. could have been very serious if something would have happened.
Coyote Lakes
This course is already a bit ragged after the September overseed. Grass is sparse/thin in many fairways and many tee boxes are in bad shape. The staff is very friendly.
Coyote Creek
Played Saturday afternoon. Pace was slow on front nine as the tee times were 7 minutes apart. Picked up on the back nine and we just finished before sun set. Good value for the cost
Would play again
The course is in great shape overall. Definitely a challenging course. Beware of hole 2, stay way left off the tee box. The only complaint was the pace of play. Not sure what the ranger was doing out there. When we finished it said we were 34 minutes behind pace. We will be back to play this course again next winter.
Challenging and Fun Course
Enjoyed our round at Coyote Lakes. First time playing there. Overall the course is maintained well as are the greens. It’s challenging as many of the holes are narrow and require you to drive the ball straight. The pace was very good as the tee times are not bunched up so closely. Very friendly staff. Will definitely consider playing here again when visiting this greater Phoenix area.
Great little desert course
Every time we come to PHX we play lots of courses but ALWAYS make sure to play this course. The staff is ALWAYS so great and the course is so much fun.
Four holes in two hours
Staff in the clubhouse was nice, staff handing out carts was either too busy to be friendly or just frantically trying to get carts turned.
Course was in good enough shape and would be fun if they actually kept pace. Over three hours to play nine on a Saturday afternoon, my fault for thinking it would be regulated.
Gorgeous oasis
An oasis just west of Sun City, where other courses are nice but flat. The rolling hills are a beautiful touch and the desert outline adds a bit of a challenge.
Average course- for appropriate cist
No Marshal, and accordingly the pace of play was well below average. There is no cart person for the whole 18 holes.
The other two individuals playing in our foursome, left the course after nine - frustrated !
The Coyote Lakes golf course could be a good course to play, but needs better management from the top down. One positive was that the carts were really good because they include GPS.
GO VIKINGS
As always the staff make the course a great place to go to! The conditions are outstanding. Greens rolling true, everything green, ducks well behaved! LOL
well done coyote lakes
i've played this course many times over the past 5-6 years and this is right up there with some of it's best conditions it's been in. wife and i paired up with a wonderful duo, father-son and had a blast on a perfect Az december day. it became even more perfect of a day shooting one of the best rounds of my life on the back nine, a 38 just missing an ace on #16 by 6 inches. this was preceded by a 50 on the front? yes, the tee boxes could use a little bit of work and the fairways aren't like the raven, but keeping the price point reasonable by todays standards, i will continue to look for openings at this course. the people are good people and the course presents it's unique challenges despite what you see on the scorecard.
