Coyote Lakes Golf Club
About
Located in the west valley, the golf course at Coyote Lakes Golf Club combines a desert landscape and traditional design with scenic views of the White Tank and Bradshaw Mountains. Although it is modest in length and suitable for all players, the course is still an enjoyable challenge for even advanced golfers. The front nine is more difficult than the back nine with large greens and several contours. The back nine is also challenging though with several notable holes. The fairways are undulating on both and water hazards come into play on several holes. Coyote Lakes Golf Club's signature hole is the 14th, a par-3 hole that requires a shot from an elevated tee to a green that is well protected by two sand bunkers and a lake to the left.

Thanksgiving fay
I’m thankful for the employees that was at work on Thanksgiving day.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Easy to play great fairways and greens for price
Enjoyed the day and shot well. Fairways were cut very short. Not many traps or hazards obscuring was fairly easy. One par 5 is extremely beautiful. Also one par 3.
Had a great round
Course was in great shape, The back nine is very different than the front; very pretty. Staff were great. The staff member looking after the carts loaded and unloaded our clubs for us. Also cleaned the clubs. Overall a great round.
Great Course, but extremely slow
At times there were 3 groups waiting on the tee box. Saw the Marshall once and he agreed was slow, but not much to do about it.
Ask if they are hosting a big group or tournament before playkng
Went out on a hot deal for a very good price. The course had booked a bday tourney with 10 groups with non golfers (although they played). Add to that it being coed, with open bar and it was a recipe for disaster! Front 9 took 2 hours and 45 minutes and although I tee’d off at 12 noon, didn’t finish until 5:30… ugh. I know the course can’t do much but here is what I would do:
Mandatory best ball - group in front of us played 4 tee shots every hole.
If after you are 3 over, pick up! Literally saw one gal play 10 shots on a par 4. Won’t be back until they fix this “non-monitoring” policy.
Overbooked
Too many players to be able to finish round in 4 hours. Only able to complete 14 holes before it got dark.
Will Never Play Here Again
Unfortunately I will never be going back to this course and that’s ok. The pace of play for 9 holes was over 3 hours. By hole 3, there were 4 groups all backed up on the tee waiting and the ranger was no where in sight. By the turn, when we brought this to the attention of the general manager he was arguing with us that the pace of play was only 1 hour behind. To allow that egregious amount of pace is certain in heard of and the general manager Tony continued to argue with us and raise his voice that anywhere in Arizona is that way. In my 20+ years of playing golf in Az I have never once encountered such a terrible experience.
a gem in the suuny state
A really nice layout that has a split between a desert setting and a gated community feel. Course was in very good condition coming off a very hot summer so well done.
Great Desert Course
Well Done . Fairways and greens well kept .
Picturous course dessert scenery on every hole . yet fun to play .
Another great day at Coyote Lakes
We are Canadian snowbirds and this is one of our favourite courses in the area. Friendly staff, great conditions and decent pace of play always make for an enjoyable round.
Good value golf, slow play
We had an afternoon tee time and enjoyed the course. Plenty of slope to both the fairways and greens. Attractive variety in the holes. It seemed that the course was too full as we waited every home, yet everyone we could see was in position. We only finished 14 holes. We may have been able to play one or two more before it was dark.
decent
can continue to be a "go to" course as long as they can control the pace of play, which they did. improve the tee boxes and speed of greens and keep the price competitive with similar courses. once you bump the $100 range, expectations need to be continually met. so far i'd rate this course decent and will continually keep my eye on it
Never again
First, when I checked in, I was told my tee time was different than what I booked. They then moved it to be a solo rider, but ended up pairing with a person, so it was super confusing. No range balls, only hitting foam ones which isn't great for flight. Tee boxes were often drastically uneven which lead to issues on shots to start the hole. Fairways were good, but the greens were issue with uneven cut.
Good course
This was a good course in good condition. The pace of play was extremely slow and there was no Marshall’s to keep the pace going
