About
The Canada Course plays through forests of mesquite trees, offering a parkland atmosphere amongst a desert landscape. The natural terrain snakes through ravines and arroyos, providing several natural hazards. Considerable mounding, doglegs and elevation changes provide a varied layout, making club selection an important factor in addition to careful strategy. Golfers should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The course’s signature hole is the eighth hole, considered one of the toughest par 3s in Tucson. The hole requires players to drive the ball uphill along a narrow ridge between two Saguaro cacti, and canyons border the greens on both sides.

Great Course
Beautiful course in great condition. Lots of variety, elevation changes and interesting greens.

At almost every turn there is a breathtaking view, and the course was in wonderful condition.

Course was in very good shape, including tee boxes & bunkers.
Beautiful Day on the Links
It is always a treat to play this course and enjoy the majestic vistas. The pace of play in the afternoon seems to afford plenty of time to admire the scenery as it seems some players must have big money games going that require lots of time to figure out just what they intend to do. It only takes one slow foursome to make it a long drawn out round for everyone behind them. Perhaps a course marshal might improve the situation by doing a loop of the course once every hour or so to remind players that the number one rule in golf is to keep up with the group in front of you and not stay in front of the group behind you. I believe there should be a video distributed by the USGA that demonstrates how to speed up play by conforming to some simple steps for ready golf so that a round of golf would not require the major portion of a day.

This Oro : Valley course is challenging and right now it's in fantastic condition.
Fast greens, great fairways, and good pace.
Nice condition
Course was Cart path only after over seeding. It was the best fairways and greens I have seen in Tucson area this fall. Never waited during round and played with a 4 some in 3 1/2 hours even with cart path only. Nice afternoon
Great course
Always a treat to play this course with its diversity of holes with different shapes, different topography, and excellent greens.. Do yourself a favor and give it a go.
