Encourage people to fix divits on the greens
Takes 2 weeks to repair if not done on a timely basis
Smooth Round
Coming out of overseeing fairways we plush in most places. Greens rolled good just a touch slow. Bunkers needed sand. (#3, #9) Overall coming along nicely for winter.
Always fun
The variety of holes, both shape and distance make this an interesting and challenging course. At times some golfers forget the number one rule in golf, to keep pace with the group in front of you. Without a course marshal, players can fall a couple holes behind after 9 holes and not know there is etiquette that goes with the game. The course is in great shape and the staff is excellent. Thank you. Just interesting how one group can add an hour to the game.
What a Jem!
This city golf course is well designed with rolling hills and lots of trees. Really fun to play!
Improvements
The sand bunkers are hard
There are sections of the course that are wet and people either don’t know they are there. People are driving oin those areas. Course management should stake those off.
Some of the cart paths leading back to the path take you to the path where there are curbs, requiring us to slowly drive over them
Signage needed on some holes to point you to next hole
Horrible Condition
The city should be ashamed to have a course in the condition I found this course in. Absolutely atrocious fairways, Greens have had no maintenance in a long time. Tree limbs hanging over cart paths. Just brutal.
No fun
Del Urich
Greens are a bit bumpy after aeration but ok to putt on. A few of the fairways had spots of dead area. I believe mostly due to whether the last few days but could have been better. Staff was very friendly all around from counter staff to cart guys and refreshment young lady.
