Great course
This course is in great condition. The fairway are skinny but you can still teach the green or get back to the fairway pretty easily. The greens rolled true and the pin placements were tricky.
Fun course and excellent conditions
The course was in very good condition and was not overly slow for a Saturday on a muni. Folks at the clubhouse and Marshall’s were very friendly and helpful.
Chief’s review
My brother-in-law and I played the 1st hole in a torrential downpour when everyone else was driving back to the clubhouse. We kept going and the rain stopped on the 2nd hole. We played the rest of the round with no rain until it started sprinkling on the 18th. Nobody on the course all day so we played in the mud a little bit had a great time and finished in a little under 3 hours. We will play here again as we thought the course was in very good condition and was challenging..
Good winter shape
Overseeded tees, green and fairways so excellent condition for winter muni course. Undulating greens surrounded by hills and low areas made for a variety of challenging chips and putts. Twas a pleasure.
First time
This was my first time golfing this course and we booked at 1:50. I knew it would be tight, but doable. When we showed up, there was a college tournament there and it was sooooo incredibly slow that we barely got thru 11 holes. It was not good. I would not have booked.
Very good shape
Everything was in really good shape (tees, greens, fairways and bunkers). Pace of play was excellent! All munis should be as well kept as Dell Urich is right now.
Really nice course
The staff were very nice and the starter was very helpful and informative.
The course is very roomy for being in the middle of the city. Very playable with just enough challenges
