A perfect place to play in Tucson
For scenery and lack of crowds a primo experience.
Nice Lil 9
Price was right. Beautiful setting. Narrow course. Greens were a Lil fluffy but on black Friday the price was right. Good for beginners and young players
Lots of dead grass
Played this course many times any usually enjoy it. They are letting a lot of the grass die, course not maintained like it used to be. They also have a bucket sized hole and a regular size hole on all greens. This giant hole is at times in the line to regular hole, when putting and chipping. Would not ever pay $29 they charge for 9 holes
First Time at El Conquistador
We played nine holes, but we wished it had been 18. The weather was almost perfect, no one was chasing us, so we had time to take care of some business on the telephone, and do some bird watching.
Overall it was an excellent experience.
Worth the 50% off paid
The greens were in super nice shape. The fairways need more water. The greeter was very nice, brought the cart, ice for drinks, and installed the bags on the cart. There is varity on the 9 holes. I would play it again.
Great nine hole option
Can't beat it for the price and course demands almost every club in the bag. A great option if you have limited time. Love the elevation changes and dramatic Catalina Mountain scenery!
terrible!!!
The course is in terrible condition. There's foot golf holes in all the greens. Do not play this course under any circumstances. Free is to much for this dump
unplayable
greens were unplayable have to hit the ball xtra hard and you don't know which direction it will go (very bumpy) the soccer golf hole is also on the green which I managed to put a ball in one of them. bathroom was closed at 3 no 19th hole 1 person to help on the outside. still charge full price for a garbage course. should give a discount until the greens are fixed. don't think will play here again even if the greens get fixed.
leave driver in bag
tight short course, play super bowl sunday at 9am had the whole course to myself.. greens awful right now other wise course very playable ,really dont need the driver. I used the driver once and still shot one under , just wondering if the greens were better? maybe not just putt not thinking about anything but back of cup...
Good 9 hole layout
Longer and more difficult than usual 9 hole track
Greens very bumpy and hard
This course has great views
The outside cart staff was very friendly and efficient. The pro shop person seemed bored and uninterested in her job, just going through the motions.
Some tricky holes
Course in good shape staff awesome would play again
3.5752 stars
very nice bunkers compared to the average course. local knowledge will help when playing this course. a few holes play longer than the listed yardage! great mountain views.
Panoramic Views of The Mountains
Reachable Par's, Hight and Low's Fairways.Panoramic views of the mountains, nice fairways, rought, bunkers and greens. Overall condition, very good.
A quick 9 holes that are well worth it
A good course for a moderate challenge. A good course too for relaxation golf.
Golf Pusch Ridge
The hardest 9 holes in Tucson. Book a tee time and challenge your skills.
Fun Course with great views
We played the day after an overnight rain and the course was wet. The course was in very good condition considering the rain storm. The layout is very good with great views and elevated tee boxes.
Hone your skills on this course!
This course has lovely views and the fairways, though quite narrow, are in wonderful condition (no sand in the traps now). Even though scores are better on the wide open fairways, these nine holes offer great practice and variety, and the staff are friendly and helpful.
The good, the bad and the ugly
The good: Grass was in perfect shape; greens were a little long but no brown spots and very few ball marks. The course was empty as I only saw one other group and I could play at my own pace.
The bad: The rough was very long... about 6". That made the narrow fairways seem even narrower and easily added one extra stroke for missed fairway shots.
The ugly: There is NO sand n the bunkers. Bunkers are just rocks and dirt. Bunkers are played as ground under repair, so they are essentially ignored when playing this course now.
