Great 9 hole course if you have limited time. You can get around in less than 90 minutes.
Friendly staff, course in good condition, quite narrow and challenging, small undulating greens. It's a short course you don't need a Driver. Pace of play is good 18 holes in 3 hrs. Nice views and replay of 9 holes was discounted.
Interesting
9 HOLES, SEVERE GREENS, GOOD SHAPE , BUT MAYBE A BIT CHALLANGING THE FIRST 5 TIMES YOU PLAY THERE..VERY FEW PLAYERS ON SUNDAY.BUT THE GOLF NOW RATES FOR 18 HOLES { $ 8.00 } DREW A LITTLE SKEPTACISM FROM PRO-SHOP ..THEY SAID IT WAS FOR 9 AND CONFIRMATION SAID 18 TOTAL { 2- 9s }.LACK OF COMMUNICATION . BUT GOLF NOW OWNED TEE TIMES ..
OTHERWISE, A TESTING TRACT..NOT FOR FAINT OF HEART OR HIGH HANDI-CAPPERS
Great Little 9 Hole Course
Played this course probably 5 times now. I wouldn't pay $20+ so the Hot Deals for under $15 are great. Id rather play 18 at El Conquistador for $33. Little shorter than a normal 9 hole course. There are a couple short Par 4s and a nice long Par 5. Great mountain views! No driving range but there is a putting green and chipping area. Water jugs at pretty much every other hole which is nice.
Great 9 hole course
Great 9 hole course--well maintained--no driving range--attendant in pro shop was kind of rude to us. But still had fun
Very scenic and well kept.
Staff was friendly and professional, the course was well kept, the carts were clean and in good running condition, can not really think of anything negative.
The greens were in the best condition I've seen them in a long time
I play there about five times a year and this is the best I've ever seen the course.
This is a beautiful and more challenging than first appears course.
Course is in great condition and although not a particularly long course the hole placement and greens make the course a lot of fun for intermediate to advanced level golfers.
a nice 9 hole course...
it would be a good deal if the same rates would apply for 18 holes !!!
All good except the other golfers
The course is well maintained and is fun to play. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The three golfers ahead of us had a beginner with them and were playing a litte slow. My foursome had no problem with this but apparently the golfers behind us did. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.
Beautiful course
This course was both challanging and beautiful - surrounding by stunningly beautiful mountains. We really enjoyed playing Pusch Ridge and will play it again next time in Tucson.
fun, challenging course
This nine-hole course is in very good condition. Outstanding mountain views. It is very hilly, so lots of side-hill lies and many challenging elevated greens. However, it is a fun course to play.
This is an excellent nine hole course.
The course is in very good shape. The views are spectacular. The value is very good.
Challenging and fun course to play with lots of breaking putts.
This is a challenging course that is much more difficult that the yardage would indicate. Get ready to be accurate with your drives and fairway and approach shots and prepare for large breaking putts on the greens. Well maintained with beautiful views of Pusch Ridge.
One thing that could improve play is to set up some kind of standard for who has priority at the hole #1 tee box when one group is teeing up for their first nine and another group is coming off of 9 to play their second nine from the same tee box. Right now it is a bit of a free for all. During my last round there were groups coming off of 9 who went straight to the first tee box to begin their second nine and jumped in front of a group who was waiting to start right on time for their scheduled first hole tee off time. This delayed the group who was teeing off for their first nine and caused a backup for two other groups who had the next two respective tee times for hole 1. It seems there should be some sort rule of order and priority established and posted at the first tee box.
Great course, great views, play can be slow
Fantastic course for the challenge (short but narrow), views (bring a camera) and condition.
However, popular with both locals and visitors. Can get crowded and play is often slow.
Course is in excellent shape.
The course is in excellent shape. The greens, while well maintained, are overly difficult because of the varying undulations and slopes.
Beautiful course with the Catalina Mountains as a back drop
Had a very enjoyable day at this 9-hole course. Not overly busy so we did not feel rushed.
fun
my beginner girl friend and I both found the course enjoyable.... I play to single digit handicap but needed to play well to shoot a decent score.
9 hole course is challenging and well maintained
Greens were slower than average in the area. Views scenic. Staff friendly. Course was interesting and challenging from the white tees.
Bad
Too difficult for me. Elevated greens. Pin placement. Etc etc etch
One of my favorite places to play, beautiful views!
One of my favorite places to play, beautiful views!
Especially for a quick 9 holes and for the money, it cant be beat! Panoramic views of the Catalina mountains and impeccable greens.
