have played this course many times. love it.
Low rating on staff was due to desk employee who checked us in. tee time was 2:05pm, we were there on time, but there were no carts available. Said he would quick get us one, then proceeded to check in the next group, who did not have proper attire and had to buy shirts. We are waiting this whole time as they make purchases, change their minds, start voiding purchases...on and on and on. Were still patiently waiting for cart. Finally after 10-15 minutes I went in and asked about a cart. More waiting. Finally he comes out, goes to a barn, pulls out a cart, pulls up to us, gets out without a word, huffs off in disgust. I'm thinking--Hey i'm not the one who showed up in a T-shirt. What a jerk. If he'd of just pointed to the barn in the 1st place i would have gotten my own cart and let him sell stuff. Just bummed out my whole afternoon.
challengin not to tough, views and surroundings very beautiful, management very co=operative
love the variety and layout greens are well maintained.
need a portable john around trhe 5th hole or so.
very scenic and touristy feeling.
Great Hotel Course
Good points are the layout and course condition. Can be a challenging little 9 hole course, play it twice from different tees. Have been playng this course a couple times every year for 15 years and always fun. Fifth hole with the island green, classic. Bad points are no food and drink service at the course, no range.
some holes were very challenging
the course is in very great shape from last year. my wife loves playing this course
Good test of golf
This is a tricky and challenging 9 hole layout.
Good variety of holes, and picturesque.
Only complaint was the greens. They need to be cut shorter, as they are far too slow.
9 holes of nice scenery
It is a challenging little course, lots of elevation changes between fairway and greens. Bring your lob wedge. Putting is nearly impossible on some of the sloping greens.
Wonderful views
The course was in great shape and we had a wonderful round. I love the all green fairways! The views from the holes were great and I found the course challenging and yet friendly to all levels of players.
The staff were very polite and friendly, especially the fellow getting our clubs on the carts and off....he was awesome.
Excellent 9 hole course. Many holes with elevation/grade changes.
We love golfing Pusch Ridge. This is the best value course in the Tucson area for +/-$20-25. Lots of holes with elevation/grade changes and elevated tee boxes. Many mature trees around the holes offering wind and sun protection. Some holes with water hazards. As a resort course Condo/townhouses line many holes but are not visually obstructive or distracting. Play the nine twice for your 18.
Fun and beautiful 9 hole course for a "couple getaway" outdoors...
I hadn't played for 2 yrs or ever played this course...Husband suggested a "nice morning out in the sunshine to enjoy seeing the snow on mountains in background and see the homes all along the course" We were able to tee off just the two of us and had a very pleasant quiet saturday morning enjoying the terrain.......renewing golf skills, and have already recommended it to snowbird friends for a try of wonderful scenery.......Thanks for asking us to respond...........
Very good nine hole course
On an equal with TreeTop for nine hole courses but this is par 36
Best 9 hole course I have ever played on. Course was in excellent condition.
Great 9 hole course. Course was in excellent condition.
Great condition and friendly staff..
Love this course.. It is in great shape, the staff is friendly.. I have played it often since moving back to the area and will continue next year.
This course is a scenic, enjoyable experience.
Pusch Ridge is Oral Valley's best kept golf secret. This nine-hole course is delightful to play. The course is in great shape and the mountain scenery is gorgeous. Each hole is unique with different challenges. The course is playable for average and above golfers. I recommend you give it a try. You won't be disappointed!
Challenges Lie Ahead
This course is very narrow, be aware that losing golf balls is a normal occurrence. The sand traps are more mud than sand. The views are great. There are no resturants unless you go to the hotel, which is very close. There are no refreshment carts.
Quick getaway!
Been playing PR for awhile now. The tee boxes, fairways, roughs, and bunkers are very well maintained, the greens not so much. I do wish they focused more on the greens rather than the roughs and areas between holes. The course is very aesthetically pleasing, but good luck sinking any decent putts.
Never had an issue with any members of the staff. This course is a resort course though so from time to time you will run into some people staying at the resort that will definitely back everything up.
I've walked this course in 1.5 hours easily. With a cart, I can complete 18 in 2-2.5 hours. I prefer golfing after 2pm when the rate drops and have the course to myself.
A Great 9 holer!!!
Beautiful condition and somewhat challenging. Played with my Gradson and daughter from Ohio. they also thought the course was in great shape and you can't beat the weather.
Small, greens with a lot of contours. Very nicely maintained.
Don't dismiss this course because it's only 9 holes. It will take at least a couple of tries to get the better of each hole.
It's in the best shape I've ever seen it in. It was great!
It's in the best shape I've ever seen it. It was great
Poor customer service
I was over charged. I booked what I thought was 18 holes for $22 on Golf Now. The attendant at the course said that price was for 9 holes and charged my group and additional $17 plus tax. I did not have my receipt but when I got home I checked and the e-mail receipt from Golf Now stated "Rate is for 18 holes including cart." I feel I was ripped off.
