Crooked Tree Golf Course in Tucson has a traditional layout in a secluded, peaceful location with no homes around the course for miles. The golf course features player-friendly, generous fairways and small greens that are surrounded by ample chipping areas. Located in the Sonoran Desert, there are ironwoods, mesquites, and saguaros situated throughout, providing a beautiful landscape and a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy this Course
Our group plays this course a lot as it is in the neighborhood. Good layout and I like the grass bunkers as a change of pace (by sure not to ground your club). Our foursome was able to walk the course in less than four hours, so the pace was good.
The practice area has been improved and I love that the range now has lights.
We will continue to play this course as part of our rotation of courses.

I had the best round ever. Played last year when here and shot a 105. Had an 88 yesterday. Not sure what happened.

Great place for a round
The course is in great shape. Off the fairways can be a little rough but so are most courses.

Municipal course
Not a bad course. Fairways greens and tee boxes great. Rough and sand boxes horrible. Not a bad course but all the bunkers are grass. This course has potential but i would not drive 90 miles to play it. If it was local and i didnt really track my score i would play it again.

Would play again.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Practice facilities are excellent. Fees are average for the area, but we found AZ golf is more costly than many other areas around the country, especially this time of the year. Greens excellent, fairways excellent, rough not good; in most areas it's so bouncy that if forces you to drive on the fairways. This course is suitable for both beginners and advanced players. There is ample parking, but bag drop is not convenient and you have to carry your bags quite a ways which makes it inconvenient if you have physical challenges. The course was very busy and we started 30 minutes late, but pace of play was good after we got started.

No more bunkers
It’s unfortunate that all of the bunkers on the course are now filled in with grass, even around the greens. This makes it feel less like a golf course

Frost delay
We went off over an hour late and were unable to finish. Asked for a 9 hole rain check and we’re told they don’t offer them. I had asked while paying if there was time to finish and the gentleman behind the counter said “ yes, no problem “. They need to review their Policy, terrible Customer service.

Meh
Open public track with all their bunkers filled in. (??). 4:45 round, and one group 3 holes in front was responsible; but no Marshall. Windy day, and the 10 fairway is immediately adjacent the driving range with no netting. Lots of balls on the fairway there. Glad we played it I guess, but will not return.
