Crooked Tree Golf Course in Tucson has a traditional layout in a secluded, peaceful location with no homes around the course for miles. The golf course features player-friendly, generous fairways and small greens that are surrounded by ample chipping areas. Located in the Sonoran Desert, there are ironwoods, mesquites, and saguaros situated throughout, providing a beautiful landscape and a relaxing atmosphere. Poor condition and slow play
Upon arrival being advised that the back nine at closing to play the front nine twice.
Course was going through overseeing which made play impossible.
Staff rather unbothered.

not worth the price
Crooked Tree golf course is in terrible condition for the price they charge. My foursome will not go back.

Can't get longer; make the greens smaller!
Quick, easy check in since I paid with GP+. Greens were a bit slow; and many had some disease around the fringes. This maybe from the course super attempting to make the greens smaller since it is not possible to make the course longer. fairways were in great shape, so I challenged myself to use the rough, which was is very good shape without being too punishing. The two of us in two carts played in 3 hours with a 1036 tee time. The course beat me 3&1.

Saturday Local Yocal’s
Lots of rain, so course soft (green) and bunkers full of water. No rake policy so lost balls in bunker water, not cool. Receptive greens, but slow and bumpy. Not conducive to making anything of length.
No drink cart (ok, no big deal) but the fivesome that created a 3 hour back nine with one open hole ahead all the way around. Clearly in no hurry.......priceless!
I’ve played here many years, still rough around the edges. Lights on range for night practice is a plus.
Lounge closed post round (2:30?) and food limited.
They are back embracing Covid protocol so no water on course, be prepared.

Worth $10 rate TOPS
I got a “hot deal” on golf now for $30 for this course. I wouldn’t pay $30 in the winter time for this course, let alone in the late morning on a summer week day.

Pretty good condition heading into summer
Fairways and long cut are decent , greens in good shape heading into June. Sand is hard packed as expected - overall in good shape

Pick another course. For the money it should have been a fifteen dollar course. At best.

Good greens
Greens we're in very good condition as were the approach areas. Fairway conditions not bad considering the Bermuda is starting to come in. All in all a good golf experience for the money. Nice not having to play near any homes.

Tees
The tee boxes are rounded, and only one or two are not. So each tee shot Youre at an angle one way or the other. Also, the grill is closed. It’s a place to play but not my favorite
