Crooked Tree Golf Course in Tucson has a traditional layout in a secluded, peaceful location with no homes around the course for miles. The golf course features player-friendly, generous fairways and small greens that are surrounded by ample chipping areas. Located in the Sonoran Desert, there are ironwoods, mesquites, and saguaros situated throughout, providing a beautiful landscape and a relaxing atmosphere. Nice place to hit the ball
Staff is very friendly.
Course was in great shape.
Course was jam packed but pace of play was pretty good. 4 hours 15 minutes.

Great value
Great value, and very easy to walk. Pretty straight forward. No real danger or issues you need to be concerned about, just hit it.

Frost delay, then very slow
I have played here several times and pace of play was fine. Today we had a 65 minute frost delay, pushing our tee off to 1:09. We left the course at 4:30 after 13 holes because the pace had slowed down so much and the wind was starting to kick up. Starting with hole #11, there were two foursomes waiting on the tee box ahead of us and a very slow group in front of them. They don't seem to have any marshals to keep track of pace of play and urge slow folks along.

With an uncharacteristically full day, we work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and allow our guest the chance to complete their rounds. Windy Cool Day
A windy, cool, overcast day kept the golfers away. Bad for them and good for us. We got out about 15 minutes early and finished in 3 hours. The course was a little wet from overnight sprinkles but otherwise fine.

Good overall, avoid bunkers
Started slow, then opened up and pace was good. Greens firm but held decently. No one fixes ball marks but a bit hard to see, yet no excuses golfers.
Sand (?) more like wet tight clay, is a joke. Avoid at all costs. Small to larger rocks and NO depth. Your club will simply bounce and the ball goes to the stratosphere.
They all need to be reworked.
Greens putted well, mid-fast and smooth. Overall enjoyed the day. Rule for this course, keep it down the middle or you will reap bad conditions (sand, dirt, thin grass).
