Crooked Tree Golf Course in Tucson has a traditional layout in a secluded, peaceful location with no homes around the course for miles. The golf course features player-friendly, generous fairways and small greens that are surrounded by ample chipping areas. Located in the Sonoran Desert, there are ironwoods, mesquites, and saguaros situated throughout, providing a beautiful landscape and a relaxing atmosphere. It is no wonder that Crooked Tree Golf Course is one of the most popular public golf courses in Arizona.

Rain and Cold
Cold rainy day but always fun to play golf. Maintenence was fertilizing the greens as we played. That made for very poor chipping and putting.

slow pace of play supported by pro shop
There was a 90 minute frost delay and the pro shop did a great job of cutting that to 30 minutes. However, there was a small business that decided a golf outing was ideal as their Christmas party. I won't bore you with the details but we finished our round in 5 hours!! I called the pro shop on hole 4 to tell them it took 48 minutes to play three holes and we were waiting on hole 4. They thanked me for the info and then did nothing about it resulting in a 5 hour round of golf after waiting over 30 minutes for the frost delay. Just poor customer service. Great that they supported the small business group but you need to value all your customers equally,, not just the people who are paying for more tee times at the moment. It does not hurt to approach a group and explain that pace of play is a very important aspect of good sportsmanship and keeping the golf course business profitable. But, they did nothing and we will not be back. I think the groups behind us who backed up at the holes also agreed that we were obviously not valued. I don't think they will be back either. I think a party should be booked as the last tee times of the day and then they can take all the time they want.
