Fun course
Fairways and greens were good. Sand traps were hard gravel. Played 18 in less than 4 hrs.
Best in Tucson
This is by far the best public course in Tucson! Well manicured and friendly staff. You can’t beat the price for the value!
Thank you for reviewing the course. Your feedback about the price of our course is important to us. We always want to make sure we are offering golfers a competitive price for their round. It is our goal to give visitors the best chance to get out and play more golf with great conditions. Thank you for playing Crooked Tree Golf Course. We hope to see you again soon.
A few crooked shots at Crooked Tree
Good course. Good price. Good company.
A few holes have some bite to them.
Bunkers need some care but fairways are pretty good.

Nice Value
Great municipal golf course. Fairways were very nice and In good condition and the greens were fast and true. Stay out of the bunkers they’re just sandy dirt and terrible! The first 5 feet or so out of the fairways weren’t bad but there were a lot of dirt areas as well. Keep it in the middle and you’re fine!

Best in Tucson
I had the chance to play some courses around town and in Phoenix-and for March this course was BY FAR in the best condition. Fairways perfect, Greens rolled true; and had grass. Bunkers need sand, but that was okay.
Worth the trip to play this gem.
Your feedback is important to us! Thank you for sharing your 5-star experience. We look forward to seeing you again at the course soon! Thanks for choosing Crooked Tree Golf Course.
Crooked Tree
Pace if play ok, just over 4 hours. Greens in good condition but poor bunker conditions.
Hello, Brandy12. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
Nice greens and fairways
Crooked Tree is a good course to "warm up on" if you are in Tucson for a golf vacation this winter. The pro shop staff are great.
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Crooked Tree Golf Course.
Not much to say just an ordinary public golf course.
Hello, Kelly8126745. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
Greens n Fairways Excellent
Greens were receptive and relatively fast. Fairways very nice. Course is very good for all golfers. We played the tips at 7000 yards and it was very challenging.
Nice Greens
I thought Crooked Tree was a solid golf course. I liked the layout and the greens were true and consistent. The bunkers, however, were filled with dirt instead of sand. I would only play this course again if it were a good deal.
Great round of golf
I played a semi- private, high-end course in tucson a few weeks prior to my round of golf at crooked tree. I can tell you crooked tree's greens were hands down better than the other course. A big shout out to the course maintenance crew..they take pride in their work and it shows not only on the greens but the fairways as well. One thing th at needs work are the uneven tee boxes on some holes other than that this course is in excellent shape. Get out there and play ladies and gents!
Well Conditioned but boring layout
Crooked Tree in best condition in years. Greens roll very well. Kudos to grounds staff. Complaint is fairways are too narrow and dormant Bermuda rough very umpredicable. Few unique, memorable holes. Staff doesn't seem particularly welcoming. Play was slow. Had to wait on every shot..but understandable since its high season.
Great
Fun time on a fun course-would love actual sand in bunkers.
Good course.
Course in good shape this year.
Fairways good. Greens rolled good.
Solid Public Course Priced Right
After getting bounced off the tee sheet at an upscale course, I booked Crooked Tree on line, sight unseen. I had low expectations based on the price and write ups. I was pleasantly surprised by everything I experienced. After a 30 minute frost delay, we were off onto a course that was well conditioned with greens that rolled true. The bunkers are a bit shaky, but it is easy to avoid most of them. The layout is interesting, but not funky, and there is plenty of roll in the fairways. I played with 3 guys in their 70's, all of whom walk the course 3 or 4 times a week. We played in exactly 4 hours. I enjoyed my day with them, as their experience helped me shoot a 7 bogey, 79. The staff was a bit worn by the public they face and I really do not like the starter calling golfers to the tee over the PA system in the Pro Shop. Give me a friendly guy with a clipboard and a few stories and I am happy. I can give CT a pass on their shortcomings and firmly state that it is a great value, public warmly welcomed, course north of the city.
Crooked Tree
Friendly staff, nice driving range. Interesting course with a variety of greens (simple to multi-level). No course diagrams anywhere. We followed a painfully slow group for 9 holes. Once they dropped out pace of play improved exponentially. Fun for practice round.
Thank you so much for the great review. We are glad you had an incredible time, and we hope to see you again soon! Thanks for choosing Crooked Tree Golf Course.
