Great location, clean facilities
Course is well maintained, marshalls available to keep a steady pace. Staff members are super friendly. Highly recommended.
Appalling service
The staff at Rancho Canada is an absolute joke. The man who helped me at the front desk treated me like dirt. I would never reccomend this course to anyone.
Lots of fun, great value, very walk-able courses.
There are 2 courses here and while the slope/difficulty is not super high on either, there are a few devilishly difficult holes on each one that can cause big numbers in a hurry for even lower handicappers. In my mind those are #'s 4, 13,15, and 18 on the East; and #'s 2, 10, 12, 14, 15 on the West.
Outstanding facility at an extremely fair price
The courses are both challenging yet fair and offer enormous value in addition to an accommodating and gracious staff.
Great Course to Play with two options East or West Course
Rancho Canada is one of my favorite courses to play, it has two options, the East Course which is Moderate with regards to skill level, and the West Course which is much more challenging.
You'll find fairways a little more open on the East Course, and narrower fairways with tougher course management needed on the West Course. All in all a Great course to play, beautiful views from either course, great staff and great pace of play, a course that should not be missed if your in the Carmel/Monterey area.

I always enjoy this course in the Carmel area. Good conditions, nice staff, and reasonable rate. What else do you need. It was a beautiful day.
