Overall, good conditions for the area and for the price. considering it was a 330 tee time. My only two complaints were some uneven tea boxes and the majority of the greens felt walked all over. Just needed a smooth roll. I would definitely play again.

This is my kind of golf course if you like hills, doglegs, fast greens with lots of break, and many interesting holes. Best value for your buck in Monterey. I commend anyone who can walk this hilly course. The many bunkers of on the course could use more sand but not a major problem. Love the wild turkeys on the course and only a few houses near the course which makes the course authentically pleasing. A Robert Trent Jones design gem.

Had the first tee time and played solo so my pace of play was fast. Course layout was awesome and greens were pure. Brian in the shop was super helpful with course tips. Would definitely play here again.

You must hit the ball straight on this course and test every club in the bag. Very nice course to play. Weather was magnificent.

The layout is fun, greens are great, pace was good. The bunkers are unplayable. They’re basically just mud clumps. You’re better off taking a one stroke penalty and dropping behind the bunker than trying to play out of them. They’re plentiful around the greens on the back 9 so you’re likely to find one and not have a chance to get up and down.

The rest of the course is a 10 but the bunkers are a zero.

I have played this course many many times. Good course layout. Not too difficult. Conditions are usually good fair way to green. Price is reasonable. My objection when play here is cart paths which have been repaved little by little which took them a long time. Still there are several area to be repaved. The most problem that I see here is the bathrooms at hole # 4 and #15. I don’t understand why they are so dirty. Looks like they have never been cleaned for months or ever. Probably the manager never really assigned anyone to look after them. Please. Please. Please. It really turns me off. Those pictures are still in my head days after.

Good time with friends. Good pace and good conditions.

This course is best for all level golfers who enjoy great views for a good deal.

Playing in fog with no fun. Trying to find your ball trying to get the moisture off your golf clubs and grips. Perhaps a fog delay would’ve been appropriate.

Beautiful course filled with oak trees and wildlife Very well maintained. Nice carts and a friendly atmosphere. Definitely will play again.
