Very Nice Golf Course

Legacy Golf Club at Lakewood Ranch is in the top 2 or 3 public golf courses in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. It was very affordable if you don’t mind playing in the afternoon. I love the layout and my guest was very impressed with Legacy.

Usually very enjoyable - but pace of play was slow this time

It's a good track and typically well maintained. But on this occasion I went out on a Friday afternoon and the pace of play was extremely slow. Groups ahead of me appeared to be members, and in no rush to complete a twilight round. Would recommend playing in the morning as it's usually a fairly quick pace - in my experience.

Always fun to play

Our group used to play Legacy every week until the prices got to high. Snagged a hot deal and it was totally worth it. The course is in awesome shape. The greens need a little TLC like rolling to stop the ball bouncing around. Staff was very friendly especially the young lady loading the bags on to the cart. Will return when $$$ allows

Pace a play was great, and ee played on a Sunday at noon.

Great Front Nine

This is a beautiful course, my only complaint was after we finished the front nine. There were two groups ahead of us on the back. Not sure where they came from, I'm guessing that they just came out to play the back and jumped in front of our group which was playing 18. This should not happen! 9 holers should not be able to jump ahead of 18 holers. We waited on every hole on the back, finished 18 in low light conditions.

Top notch facility

Played on a busy holiday Monday at 2pm and

was able to complete 18 before sundown.

Was grouped with a nice local couple who

were great company.With the traffic going

through the course pace of play suffered a

little bit but again was well managed.Course

conditions are some of the best in the area

and the food and drink are reasonably priced.

Look forward to my next round at Legacy.
