The Good: The layout was fun with tees for all levels. Fair mix, well bunkered and good variety of shapes.

The greens ranges from good shape to in desperate need of repair.

Beverage cart and halfway house available!

But this round took FIVE Hours and 20 mins. Our foursome included 2 w average golfers so we weren’t quick. We waited on 17/18 tees and every fairway.

Wildlife made the wait a little entertaining.

Sadly- I’m unlikely to return. SJW

Really liked the layout of this course with some interesting holes. The pace was super slow at first but after two holes opened up. Greens rolled better than most I’ve played in area. The lakes on course need water bad. Overall good experience, still a bit pricey, but everywhere is way too much.

Been here in the past, won't be back in the future. First the starter made our 2-some wait for the 2-some he chose to pair us with to finish at the driving range for 15 minutes. Then we continued along a 5+ hour round being held up by a foursome a hole ahead of us. No rangers on the course to ask for assistance. Then when we did finish, and sunset, the staff tried to hurry us out to get the carts in.

The course was in really good shape, a few greens were spotty.

Canadian snowbirds who been coming down to the Bradenton area for several years. Have played the course in the past but were never overwhelmed. It’s been 3 years since we last played. Have to say the new ownership has done a tremendous job. We were pleasantly surprise. The course is in great shape. The staff very friendly. We have friends coming down in April can’t wait to take them out on this course.

Nice course. Interesting layout. Not long but challenging. I’m pretty good shape. Pace was quite slow. Might go back off season

After 2 hours to play 5 holes, the first Ranger we see says know one on the course is behind. I told him that could not be possible and he just kept saying everyone is where they should be. Bottom line was crazy slow and they really do not care. Tee’d off at 2:04 ,sunset at 6:30 ,only finished 14 holes

This is a fun place to play, need local knowledge to properly navigate but a good golf course.

The problem is that everyone knows it and it was over a five hour round of golf. There were four foursomes waiting on the first tee and we were 20 minutes late starting. It never got back on track and was very frustrating.

It is not a long course, but has some interesting quirks.

The course ranger came around, asked us how long we had been playing and then thought that 2.13 hours through 8 holes was fine. I corrected him and told him it was not. Seemed oblivious to the problem. They need to manage this load of players and get it right.

I will play it again and hopefully it will take less time to play it.

I’ve always liked playing the course. The course is very well worth the value for the cost. Staff is friendly however it was very slow, a 5 hour round. We tee’d off at 12.30 and finished at 5:40 pm. A lot more discipline is needed to get this to a four hour round. Thank you
