Worst staff I have ever seen!!!!!!!
The lady in the pro shop has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. The club pro who I guess is part owner is just as bad. I read a lot of reviews about those two and all was bad. Stay away!!! I don't want to get into a lot of details just read the reviews, I had the same problem as a lot of other players using this site. Jeff
A Fun And Unique Course
Great course in excellent condition.
The tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens were in fantastic shape. The greens rolled well and were quicker than the average beach course.
The layout of the course is great. Nothing contrived. It's right in front of you and it's up to you to make the shot.
I'll go back again.
Good shape as well as a good value
The course is maintained, pace of place is managed, and holes are tree lined with water and sand on most. Tee's, fairways, sand traps, and greens in very good shape for as much play as this course gets. Rough is rough, but don't hit it there. Overall great value and good course that fair and fun to play. Move back if your want to make it harder.
Great Conditions
Wide open fairways just off I-95. Course had been in poor condition, but is now great. Lots of water, but you only cross it on Par 3s.
An excellent course with plenty of character
I have heard of this course for years. But, never had a chance to play it, OR, never gave it a chance. I had read several reviews over the years, saying how it had gone down hill. Well the past few months, the new management has made a difference, at least in the responses on the reviews. So, I decided to give it a try. I was a very nice surprise. Most of the fairways are tree lined. The few holes that run parallel to the interstate are really thick in trees. However, there is ample room for wayward drivers (like me). I was paired up with a couple of friendly locals, that had played the course a few times. They were not only helpful, but also said that the course is a lot better than it was in years past. The greens were a good speed (I'd say 9-10 on the stimp). We played from the whites, which offered some pretty long par 4's. Also, the par 5's were easily reached in 3 shots with my short drives. The par threes mostly played over water were a little tougher, and if the wind is blowing could be pretty hard to pick the right club. Overall, a great challenge and in good shape. Oh, and the staff there were very helpful and friendly. I give it 5 stars.
Much Improved
I had played Indigo Lakes several years ago. It is much improved now. Fairways and greens are excellent.
Fun and challenging layout
This was a fun challenge. Great layout, nice greens and the par 3s are visually intimidating.
improved!!
the new owners have made remarkable improvements. Course is iin beautiful condition.
Good Quality Course
This is a good quality course for the $. I wouldn't rate it as high as a couple of previous reviews but it's not bad, especially for the price. I paid $35 and that was with a small bucket of range balls. Course is pretty open and forgiving. Some fairways are small but there is usually some rough before the trees, water, or OB. And the rough wasn't that rough. Greens were in good not great shape. Some weeds and other grass in them but they rolled ok and were fast. A couple tee boxes chewed up. Especially the par 3s. The par 3s are pretty tough. Several forced carries on them. All in all your standard Florida public course. Good for the average golfer-a challenge that won't beat you up too much at a good price.
Great golf course!
The absolute best value for public golf in Volusia County!
good visit
open fairways with lots of well placed bunkers (over 100) with soft white sand. greens were in good shape this early in the spring, difficult pin placements, fast with lots of undulations, never saw a flat put. lots of wildlife, red foxes on two occasions, eagles and ospreys. overall a challenging but fair course, my friends and I will be back often.
Greens where rather firm need to receive the ball better..
greens where really firm no soft landing fairways good tee boxes where good.
Better than just Value!!!
I played this course a year ago and thought it was nice, but the changes that have taken place have really put this in a new category of great value for your money! Played the blues (6700yrds) and was able to use all the clubs in my bag; which i like! Nothing worse than playing a course where its driver wedge every hole. The greens were immaculate! no ball marks, dry patches, etc.. green carpet throughout. Is a must play for me every time i'm down there now!
A place to play
All the staff was very friendly. The course was in a good shape and well maintained.
We played early in the morning and sometimes the pace was very slow …almost five (5) hours.
Greatly Improved
There are a bunch of old reviews online about this course and staff being poor. I had a great experience and thought the course was in great shape under the new ownership. Highly recommend this course.
Much improved
Greens improved over past six months, Staff was very hospitable and welcoming.

Staff was very friendly course was in the best shape in years. Will play the course again! !!!
Indigo Lakes
First time playing this course near my home. Excellent value and experience. Wide fairways with many long holes and sand traps. Greens were decent and overall the course conditions were excellent. Beautiful scenery beautiful on this established golf course. Pace was comfortable not rushed. Staff from clubhouse to starter were very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend this course. I will play here as often as possible great local course well maintained.
Greens much better..
2nd time playing Indigo Lakes, and greens were much improved! First time I played course was in really rough condition, yesterday greens were rolling very nice, and tee boxes were much improved!
