Elegantly crafted by renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills, Windsor Parke Golf Club is conveniently located between the Jacksonville Beaches and Downtown Jacksonville, only minutes from the Jacksonville International Airport.
The golf course, which features sculpted, rolling fairways, strategic bunkering and dramatic elevations that are typical of a Hills layout, has the distinction of being selected as one of the top-100 courses in the state of Florida by Golf News and received a four-star rating from Golf Digest.
Built in 1990, Windsor Parke Golf Club measures 6,765 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 72.6, with a slope rating of 132.
This semi-private 18-hole course has hosted more USGA qualifying events than any other course in Jacksonville, including the US Open, US Amateur, US Publinks and US Senior Amateur.

The person at the desk was very unfriendly for some reason. I think it was due to the fact that we got a hot deal & didn't pay full price. Will never go back or recommend this course to anyone else.

I was expecting better conditions based upon recent reviews on Golf Advisor.
I did not expect a completely dormant course, except for the greens.
I like the layout, but the course needs TLC. Fairways and tee boxes should be overseeded, bunkers need lots of work, hitting irons from dormant fairways creates flyers like you see from rough.
Some very bare spots just off fairways.
Fun at Windsor Parke
My son and I enjoy playing Windsor Parke a few times a year - he's in the Navy and I visit from Indiana. Great seeing the wildlife because of the trees and ponds - hawks swooping down to catch a lemming, geese and ducks on the ponds, and squirrels in the trees. Haven't had a bad experience yet!

Windsor used to be a primo course in Jacksonville. Sadly thats not the case anymore. Cart paths in disrepair in many areas. Uprooted tree holes from hurricane a danger in some areas. Clubhouse needs paint in some areas. Fairways need fertilizer or overseeding. For the price thats charged, these things should b maintained and they are not.
The course itself is a tough test for most amateurs. Many interesting holes but crowned and sloped fairways are very unforgiving for anything less than a perfect shot.
Great course
Course conditions were great. I always find it challenging but fair. I am blesssed to have a quality course close to my home to play. If you are new to area go play this course.
Enjoyed the course/hated the heat
Enjoyed the course and layout. Maintenance is very good on both the greens and fairways. Bring some friends and enjoy.
Great shape after the storm
Always enjoy this course compared to other public facilities in the area. Greens are coming back after the aeration weeks ago. One of my favorites to play over and over.

I sucked, but love the course. Joined a threesome and had a good time.
Enjoyed the course/hated the heat
The course was a bit wet with all the recent heavy rains but they are doing a good job keeping up. The heat of the days are helping to dry things up as well. Was paired up with a couple a great guys and the round was a lot of fun. Thanks guys and will see you again soon.

Nice round with little waiting for group in front of us. Condition of greens a little on the shaggy side (they had been punched fairly recently).

Nice challenging course but the greens were airiated and sanded which made putting difficult.
Recent Round at Windsor Park
This was my first round in several years and I was quite surprised at how the overall condition had really improved. The course was in good condition although there were a few soggy areas due to the recent daily downpours. The greens had the best grass coverage I had seen there in years. The greens speed was a little slow but they rolled nicely. I would definitely put this course back on my list for course in the Jacksonville area.
Nice Course for Reasonable Price
We played yesterday and were worried about conditions because we have received substantial rain since last Saturday. With the exception of one hole and the sand traps, the course was fine. Tees, fairways and greens in very good conditions. We had booked a deeply discounted rate on Golf Now, so it was a fabulous value.
Nice but slow
Wonderful course and well maintained. Pace of play slow! Ranger needs to enforce rules about pace of play.
