Elegantly crafted by renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills, Windsor Parke Golf Club is conveniently located between the Jacksonville Beaches and Downtown Jacksonville, only minutes from the Jacksonville International Airport.
The golf course, which features sculpted, rolling fairways, strategic bunkering and dramatic elevations that are typical of a Hills layout, has the distinction of being selected as one of the top-100 courses in the state of Florida by Golf News and received a four-star rating from Golf Digest.
Built in 1990, Windsor Parke Golf Club measures 6,765 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 73.3, with a slope rating of 138.
This semi-private 18-hole course has hosted more USGA qualifying events than any other course in Jacksonville, including the US Open, US Amateur, US Publinks and US Senior Amateur.

Place is very nice, pace of play they need a Ranger to move very slow people .
Extremely poor greens
I play better courses for half the price. Orange park, and Fleming Island and this is on the weekend. The greens on this course are terrible too much bouncing. Fairways are nice but tee boxes need major overhaul with dirt not sand I can buy an 8 pack of gatorade for what they charge for one.
nice course
played quickly, very good conditions, grass just off fairways was pretty deep. Greens quick but soft. I'll be back
challenging course
overall a very good experience. Staff is helpful, polite etc. A few tee boxes needed some work, the greens had just been sanded. Becuase of the very reasonable price it will attract novice and slow golfers I believe, so at times it can be slow (other rounds).
But all in all a very worthwhile experience. Lots of water, difficult rough

When visiting Jacksonville, we always make sure we play this course. The staff is friendly and we enjoy playing the course.

Fairways are remarkable, several greens with dead spots. Nice layout could be an awesome golf course.
Cart part terrible. Staff was very helpful and nice. If it was not for the greens, it would have been an awesome course. Also pin placements had a few in the middle of a slope? I was looking for the clowns mouth.
Fairway or bust.
The course was in good shape from fairway to green. The tee boxes definitely need some help. The rough was US OPEN thick and we lost balls that were a foot off the fairway. I like the course and have played there for 5yrs and never a disappointment.
Needs work
The conditions were barely playable. Tee boxes with overgrown grass. Greens were like sand traps. Can't believe NBC's Golf Academy sign was even posted on this property. Needs major maintenance. Can't believe Golf Now did not have an advisory on this course. VERY UPSET.

Positives
Staff courteous and friendly, pace of play ok
Negatives
Greens were horrible!! They had been aerated 2 weeks ago, I've never seen that much sand on greens it was like putting out of a sand bunker, greens really need to grow back together!!
I got a good deal on golfnow, probably would not return to this course again.
Fun on Tuesday
The course was nice an open. Greens need work. And you better be able to hit straight.

Have played here off and on for 19 years. Greens in best shape I have ever seen here, which means they are above avg.
Great Course inside City Limits
Scenic course which is well maintained. Can play soggy after a few days of summer rain, but that's Florida in general. Nice course

The reviews I read were somewhat harsh regarding the greens, so I went expecting the worst.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the course very well laid out and fun to play.
The greens were bumpy and if you are use to fine greens you will be disappointed; however, I'm not, I play economy courses because I just want to hit the ball...
I came away impressed by this course as better than most for the price,
I shoot generally around 80
Bad condition!
The greens were absolutely horrible, they were burnt up and on many of them your putts bounced all over the place and the fairways weren't much better. This place needs help!
Looks nothing like the pictures provided
Locals told us it used to be a great course, but not getting the attention it needs from the new owners. Bare spots in fairways, larger bare spots in the roughs, and greens were spotty and not very well maintained. It has a nice variety of holes but conditions spoil the round
