18th Green at Queen's Harbour Photo submitted by mcstanley78 on 08/09/2013
Good track but poorly run and not worth time or money
Everyone was shoved right on top of each other. No spacing and extremely slow play that was unregulated. Non golfers were walking the course on multiple holes completely clueless. Twice we had to wait on non golfers with dogs to clear the area.
Saw cart girl on 1 but never again. Just go somewhere else at this price point.
Golf
Great course very challenging and made for a great golf outing.
Beautiful
We had a great time at this course, pace was a little slow but thee we place was nice and the amenities were great
Andy
It's always great to come back to this course.
I try to play it often and bring a friend
Have always liked the course layout and a reason for repeat play. Fairways needed some work in spots and a few bunkers were inconsistant but greens were in good shape and all rolled the same.. looking forward to playing there again.
Queens Harbor is a nice track
Returned to Queens Harbor recently and it was a good day of golf. The greens were in good shape but a little shaggy. The golf course was recently resodded and needs a few weeks of rain to grow in. I'll Return next month and it will be the excellent track it's always been. The 17th hole is one of the best holes in North Florida. Enjoyed the course.
Value for money!
On our trip to JAX Queens Harbour was the cheapest golf we paid for and absolutely worth 5 stars compared to sime others we played.
The course layout is really good with some very interesting holes. It's a shame the front 9 were so wet after the rain deluge the day/night before. The Greens are very good and true. Overall I loved it and would have it on my list for a return visit.
Only real shame was the fact the club catering/bar wasn't open on a Monday.
Wack a weed!
Other than the maintenance guy who kept his weed Wacker and leaf blower running as he accompanied us for 13 consecutive tee boxes almost like he was part of our foursome, we enjoyed the round. After the round I asked him if he ever considered doing his job starting on 18 and working backwards so as not to continuously disturb the same foursome. He seemed dumbfounded and was unresponsive other than to smirk to his coworker!
