About
Windy Harbor Golf Club is a military golf course located at the Mayport Naval Station, it was formerly known as the Mayport Golf Club. The seaside course now takes its name from the blustery ocean breezes that sweep through the back nine. The golf course is narrow with tree-lined fairways and large, fast greens that are slightly sloped. There is also a defined cut of rough beside every fairway. Greenside bunkers and water hazards that come into play on nearly every hole make the course challenging for players of all abilities. Windy Harbor Golf Club also has practice facilities for golfers to use that include a driving range with grass and carpeted practice tees, a practice sand trap, and a large putting green.

NS Mayport
Best deal in town. GPS and radio in the cart. Course is in great shape. The greens were freshly punched but still rolled true. The proshop has good swag at reasonable prices.

Great time with friends. Staff was great. The course had a lot hazards that you couldn’t see, but they did had GPS and a layout, so it was fair…Enjoyed it will be back soon…

Another round at Windy Harbor
My buddy and I played diverged from our normal morning round and played Windy Harbor in the afternoon. Two other chaps joined us on the front and we all went around the front 9 in just under 2 hours. So, the pace of play was good, the greens were smooth and of average pace, the tee boxes were very good, and the fairway grass was nice given we had finally received some recent rain. The ladies in the pro shop as well as the starter were all pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend Windy Harbor if you haven't played it, although you will need the MWR card (there is a wait time) or navy personnel to get you on the base. The price is a great value when compared to the courses in the area.
Another nice round
The course is in pretty good shape. The greens are a bit fast but manageable. The pace of play was excellent. I always enjoy the course and enjoy spending the day at Windy Harbour.

Good time as always at WH. Pace of play was rarely slow today, a ranger would’ve been helpful.

Group together with Myke, Keegan and Nick had a great time, played so so but when you're playing with guys who enjoy the game it's always a good round of golf.... greens are quick and true

The course obviously is dry, but there’s nothing they can do about that except for nighttime sprinkling. Hopefully we get some rain, but they are doing a good job. It can get a little slow on the back usually
Great layout
The course continues to be in above average conditions with soft greens. That are receptive and nice rolling. With the exception of the weeds coming through the course was great!
Great course for the money.
Challenging layout from the Blue tees. The greens were in great shape except for the sprigs of Poa Annua grass which makes the putting difficult but overall in decent shape considering the drought conditions happening in North Florida the past few months.
Enjoy playing this course, conditions are consistently good,greens are fast and tricky, back 9 is more challenging than the front
