Opened in 1990, this area favorite is a championship layout designed by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton around century-old oak trees, lush vegetation, and abundant wildlife. This lakeside gem borders East Lake Toho and features water on 16 holes, undulating fairways, and quick, true greens (tiftdwarf grass).

Hard front, easy back
Really enjoyed this course. Not very many holes that require driver off the tee. Sand traps were hard because of recent rain. Greens were very receptive and easy to putt. Front 9! way harder than the back. Rough is easy to play from, but they fairways are tough to distinguish from the rough.
Golf Now booking a pain, course recovering, staff great
Course closed due to lightening, needed to move tee time. Professional gone home so transferred to Golf Now by club to change reservation. They would not change as Professional not in and “need to check course closed” Crazy. After rain course dry, needs a bit of care but great value for money. Layout always been good and staff welcoming

Always a favorite.
Good condition. Always loved the variations of holes. Tee boxes good. Fairways good. Greens good, about a 9 stimp. Some lying water, but not as bad as it used to be. Bunkers need to be more dandy and not like cart paths. Maybe they'll get that right one day.
Overall course is in decent shape, greens rolled nice and true. Price was fair and I will be going back in a couple days!

Course was in great condition. I always enjoy playing this course and recommend it to other golfers.
Nice course
It’s great value for the money.
There is a construction on main road, drive up with time for delays
Poor pace of play, unusual and could have been fixed earlier
Staff welcoming, after course closed previous day. Very slow group blocked many groups. No action taken until they reached 14 then all flowed OK after they had been told to speed up. This could have been done with them on 5 or 6 to please many golfers frustrated today. Course had recovered well from rain previous day. Service and communication previous day was diabolical pushing issues to Golf Now who would not act as no professional at course available to confirm status. But no professional availability was the reason the issue was transferred to Golf Now for resolution.
Best deal around for the money . Club pro super friendly and sincerely a nice guy. We will be back next year.
Good Greens
Challenging layout. Lots of water particularly on the back nine. A little bit of target golf on back nine. Fairways were decent given the lack of rain. Greens are the best feature.
Pace of play was quite fast. 3 hours for our twosome.
Ok for the money. I’ll never play it again though.
Outside staff, starter is a joke. No range balls available at 11am…. Hit floater balls into a lake.
I was supposed to be paired with another single and a twosome and the starter said just go out whenever you like. Lots of singles which slows play. Restaurant poor: I ordered a pile high turkey sandwich, and it was cubed turkey on rye, and the turkey seemed like it was processed.
Very outdated bathroom, small Pro shop, gasoline golf carts. You get what you pay for…
Good value
Course was in decent shape. Greens were average speed and in good condition. Tee boxes and fairways were ok considering lack of rain in FL. Bunkers were not good. Had, wet sand.
Staff was friendly and pace of play was good. Decent course for the money. I would go back.
