KBCC
Kissimmee Bay CC is a pretty nice track. Quite a bit of water and traps. Greens were in good shape. Played a little later when rates dropped. Good value.
Good value for a nice day on the course
We had two threesomes playing at 10:40 and 10:48, the actual tee times were a little bit earlier and the starter was very informative. The course conditions were varied with the greens in great shape but very slow, the fairways were okay not great. Enjoyed the round despite being one of my poorest scoring days this winter.
The nineteenth hole was very good and service was excellent.
I’d play the course again now having a better feel for the lay of the land.
Not Like It Was!
Played this course many years ago and one could tell it had seen better days. Everything about it was past its best, from the noisy carts to the course maintenance to the unraked bunkers, it called out for some TLC!
Great days golf
Really enjoyed this course. Fairways were not too firm or bare and greens were fast and true, bood for the time of year. Did not wait on a y shots so pace of play sas perfect. We were tea ed up with a guy from Boston and a Canadian, we played off different tees but had an enjoyable round. The layout is interesting with lots of water. Only issue was the bunkers which were like clay with very little soft sand. Finished late afternoon and had a hotdog a d a beer in the bar, nice clubhouse atmosphere .Would definitely recommend and play here again.
Good experience at KBCC
My wife and I played this for the first time and really enjoyed it. Apart from the the tosser behind us who teed off while we were still on the green and nearly brained us, it was great. Good pace, fairways, green and tee boxes, although bunkers more like compacted dirt than sand. For the price it was very good value and would play again.
Challenging for elder, occasional players
This is a beautiful course with a good bit of water, sand traps around greens, and water coming out into the green you do not see if you are not familiar with the course. We gave ourselves a break if it rolled into the water behind a hill we did not see and took a free drop. This is not a flat course, lots of small rolling areas, and fairways grass was very short so hitting off the fairway was a bit of a challenge. Staff were very friendly. Would play here again if in the area.
We do love nature and the various birds and waterfowl were enjoyable; gators did not get in the way but the crows will come into the cart and eat anything they can find.
Challenging g, but fair
Enjoyable round. Nice folks in the clubhouse, starter, and in the grill. My only issue would be the bunkers. There are quite a few and many had not been raked so they were more like waste areas. You rarely found a rake next to fairway bunkers, so I played them as waste areas (ie you could ground your club and take a practice swing to get a feel for the texture). If the bunkers were raked regularly, air would be able to dry them out more readily.
Enjoyable day
Wy wife and I were paired up with a couple from Canada. We were evenly matched and we enjoyed their company and learned about them as they learned about us. Warm and sunny day enjoying being on the course. Lots of different looks and the greens were in good shape!
Kissimmee Bay Country Club
Nice course, greens in good shape, plenty of tees, fair course.
Great course to play ! Definitely recommend
Leave driver at home as #1 plays dog leg left Pat 5. To get a good score, must play some good shot management. Greens in prime shape, course in good shape and beautiful scenery as it winds through a neighbourhood
.
