Golfer Reviews
Enjoyed our day, some lovely views across the water.
We were paired up with a friendly two ball and the course was in decent condition. It was reasonable value for money and we would recommend it as a day out.
Enjoyable
Having not played here for some years, I was impressed with the quality of the greens. The course ,as I remembered it, was a good challenge but the pace of play was a little slow. The tees could be in better condition but I appreciate the there has been a lack of rain recently. However, enjoyable and I would come back.
Best condition in a whilr
I play a lot here when I’m Florida this was best condition ever but too pricy
Worn out
A 1950 relic in need of a facelift. Pro shop is dark and dank. Displays are unappealing. Restaurant fits the mold. Dark. Dank. Decidedly unfriendly. I had to put in my own order. No menus. Had to get barkeep’s attention from a group of male regulars to pay my bill. Cart guy was a jerk. His personality matched the conditions of the cart. I felt like I was in a rundown private “club”’- an unwelcome outsider.condition of the course? Shouldn’t the grass be green by now?’ Close cropped Bermuda.
Hit off mud at the range. Balls looked like they came from a hock shop. At $75 a round? Regulars seemed to enjoy the atmosphere. Their home away from home just like a neighborhood hole in podunk.
Quick stop before cruising.
Arrived early started tried to put us with another two some. They didn’t want too. So off we went following a group of golfers.
Of course it was slow play.
2nd time playing this course this year. Little dry greens were fine and rolled good.
Nice Course
The course was nice nothing special, though it does have a lot of water. Grass was only fair but not sure what it is like in other times of year. Definitely would play again
March 2023
Course has nice layout and a variety of holes. There is water on the course but if you hit the ball halfway decent the water is not a problem. Greens are average speed and just right for me (similar to courses up north). As with most southern courses chipping and be problematic. Need a club with a thick base to prevent muffing your chip shots (thin bladed club has tendency to dig in). If you are from up north, take an extra club as your ball doesn't fly as far down here. I would play this course again and for the price I recommend it. I am a 12 handicap and play 2-3 times a week in season.
A good day
Not the best golfer in the world but I had a good time. Great staff and a good course.
Good course layout
Ir was good course layout.
But there was no Marshall and played very slow.
Nice
Was a nice course to play for the first time met two nice guys enjoyed the round.
Very Average
While I don't view this course as a good value, we are in Orlando during the winter, so it should be expected to overpay. With that said, the course, overall, was very average. The greens were in good shape, the tee boxes were rough, the fairways were hard but fine. The bunkers were horrible, hard with not much sand.
Go else where
The course is in poor condition. No toilets on the course but a Johnny on the spot ! No employees to take your bags nor to bring your cart.
