Disney's Palm Golf Course

This course is very challenging, lots of water. Most out of bounds areas swamp.bring a couple extra sleeves of balls.

Where do I start? Played today on what we were told was a non busy day. Course is very run down. Bunkers weren’t manicured from day before and it took over 5 hours to get our round in. Expecting much more from the Disney organization. Management needs to make the effort to fix green ball marks, fill in the fairway divots, provide Marshall’s some teeth to give slowpokes a jab, and above all create “some” value for the $150 fee.

I organize two golf getaways each year for large contingents and will ensure the Disney courses will not be considered in the future until I hear that management has taken the initiative to provide a decent golf experience.

We were excited to play the Disney Palms course today and we’re quite disappointed in our experience. We paid over $140USD and the course was in average condition at best. The bunkers were a mess and no footprints were raked. Greens were in poor condition and were full of ball marks that had not been repaired.

Our round was over 5 hours with over 4 groups sitting on one hole. The staff were friendly but should have been trying to push slower groups along to maintain pace of play. We felt that Celebration or other courses nearby were better value for the money.

Overall the course was very good. Conditions were wet so more drainage would be good. They should add another snack shack at the turn as well another washroom facility. Plays tougher than one would think. Some very challenging water hazards.

2nd time playing Palm, many strong holes, fairways and all but 2 or 3 greens is good shape. Does attract lots of "Johnny twice a year slasher" types so pace of play can be slow some days. Nice range with a free bucket incl with green fee. Drink cart makes regular stops, little pricey but good quality sandwiches. $100 green fee is fair value, anything north of that ...

I absolutely fell in love with this course. It was a perfect 82 degree day with just a little bit of wind, the fairways were beautiful and surrounded by lush landscaping, and there was plenty of wildlife to see between the turkeys, armadillos and the gator sunning himself on the backside of the 13th green. My only issue with the day was my putting (still can't get used to a mallet putter and those greens did not break the way they looked like they should). The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rental club set was in perfect condition. Will definitely play here again!

I had a great experience at the Palms course, at one point we had a pair of deer 10 ft away from us. My only complaint is that they could have better signage showing the location of the courses as well as the directions to the tee’s.

The course was beautiful. The employees were very pleasant and helpful. The speed of play was right on. We look forward to returning..
