About
The 18-hole Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1971. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort measures 6870 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 131 and a 73.7 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
The natural Florida woodlands provide a stunning backdrop to one of America's premier resort courses. Architect, Joe Lee, designed the 6,870-yard Palm with elevated tees and greens. The key ingredient, of course, was the Florida palm and he made good use of nearly every variety for aesthetic and strategic purposes. Its fairways are crafted through a pine forest of mature, natural woodlands that includes moss-dappled oak, maple and cypress trees. Palmetto scrub fills the forest floor. It boasts of more than its share of water and sand with nine water holes and 94 bunkers.
This is a perfect choice for everything from a casual round to a large group outing.

Slowest play of my life
If you want to play a 6 1/2 hour round this course is for you. Stay away, Not worth it.
A Palm Treat!
First time playing Disney Palms and was not disappointed. The course was in great condition with nice February warm weather. Note that the Palm driving range is closed from 10-12 for maintenance.
The greens and fairways were in pristine condition., the pace of play with a 11:20 start time was excellent, no issues! This course is a must play if visiting the area… the happiest place on earth!
Great Experience
Loved it. I felt like the kid I was when I got to experience Disney World when I was 10, 30 years ago. 5* customer service, best golf carts I've been in, conditions were above par and the scenery with wildlife, ufff ...I'm coming back, and I'm staying close to golf the Disney courses.

Awesome Experience!
What a joy to play this course. Beautiful conditions, great staff, and coming from Colorado, all I wanted to see was a gator…had plenty of opportunities!
Bad experience
Golf cart locked every other hole. They admitted the carts had issues with the gps

Good resort course
Course was in good condition - fairways & greens. Pace of play the day I played wasn't good (had 12:20 time) as they had an amateur tournament that did a front/back start and last group made turn at just over 3 hour pace! Only learned this as we arrived at tee and were told we would be delayed by 20 + minutes. Then stuck behind tournament for 9 holes. Probably not a normal experience but staff could have managed this much better. I'd play again and hopefully not when they have an AM tournament.
Nice course
The course was very busy , with groups on every hole ; however the pace was very good , we finished in 3.5 hours . Love this course , it is so scenic, we feed a large buck , about 8 points … very fun .
Palm - good layout and condition
Layout was good. Fairways generous but pick the right lines. Green speed good and consistent. On this day they had an amateur event in AM and they finished 9 holes in 3 hours so our start was delayed and 1st 9 was slow. Pace improved after 9. Would play again as Course is good.
Challenging
This course is very challenging, lots of water. Most out of bounds areas swamp.bring a couple extra sleeves of balls.

Thank you for your feedback on your recent round at Walt Disney World® Golf. We apologize for the fact that you were displeased with the guest services that you experienced.
In researching your reservation, it appears according to out GPS tracking system as though you were booked to play at 2:30pm, and teed off late at around 2:50pm, that is our fault, and we apologize for how busy the course was on Thursday morning. However, after teeing off at 2:50pm, it appears as though you were on hole #4 by 3:30pm, and then chose to leave the golf course after that, driving in after less than an hour on the golf course having played 4 holes. Our anticipated pace of play is under 4 hours 30 minutes, which is approximately the pace you were on, but nothing close to the 6 hours and 30 minute pace that you mention in your comment.
We hope that you will reconsider playing our wonderful courses again in time to come, so we can exceed your expectations upon your next visit to Orlando.
