About
The 18-hole Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1971. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort measures 6870 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 131 and a 73.7 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
The natural Florida woodlands provide a stunning backdrop to one of America's premier resort courses. Architect, Joe Lee, designed the 6,870-yard Palm with elevated tees and greens. The key ingredient, of course, was the Florida palm and he made good use of nearly every variety for aesthetic and strategic purposes. Its fairways are crafted through a pine forest of mature, natural woodlands that includes moss-dappled oak, maple and cypress trees. Palmetto scrub fills the forest floor. It boasts of more than its share of water and sand with nine water holes and 94 bunkers.
This is a perfect choice for everything from a casual round to a large group outing.

The course was a treat to play!! Would recommend it to everyone!!
Golf Pairings
Hello,
We do understand the purpose of pairing players. We played the Magnolia the day before and were not paired. Maybe when pairing consider the men and women.
Please know that 3 men and 1 women can be uncomfortable when they don't know each other.
Enjoyed the course and plan on returning next year.
Meh - Not Worth The Money
Like all of Disney, this is grossly overpriced. Great proshop, friendly staff, but sadly didn’t find out the course was cart path only until the starter sent us off. Pretty frustrating when you pay $130. Course isn’t exciting. Conditions were bland for the best month of the year in Florida. Take your money down the road to Grand Cypress!
Palm course-great shape
The palm course is in great shape. I would highly recommend playing it.
Resort guests never play the proper tees
This course plays long folks. Lots of raised greens. Course was in good shape as usual!
Disney Delivers
Palm is a nice track in nice shape. 1 beef - the player assistant - aka the Marshall - didn't seem interested in policing pace of play. The group in front of us was 2 holes out of position all day. The Marshall should be obliging slow groups to allow faster groups to play through or at minimum pressing the slow play group to speed up.
Not a Disney-kind of experience
Staff was rude and not very helpful
Course is in very bad condition
Pace of play was unheard off
We were four foursomes stacked at one hole at certain point
