About
The 18-hole Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is a resort golf course that opened in 1971. Designed by Joe Lee and Rocky Roquemore, Palm Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort measures 6870 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 131 and a 73.7 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bermuda grass.
The natural Florida woodlands provide a stunning backdrop to one of America's premier resort courses. Architect, Joe Lee, designed the 6,870-yard Palm with elevated tees and greens. The key ingredient, of course, was the Florida palm and he made good use of nearly every variety for aesthetic and strategic purposes. Its fairways are crafted through a pine forest of mature, natural woodlands that includes moss-dappled oak, maple and cypress trees. Palmetto scrub fills the forest floor. It boasts of more than its share of water and sand with nine water holes and 94 bunkers.
This is a perfect choice for everything from a casual round to a large group outing.

Difficult for an average player
Lots of water to manoeuvre and ver fast greens.
Great layout.
Have to play
Great golf shop, friendly staff and a good cource6. Of course it was cart paths only when I played
Beautiful Track
A great layout and nicely designed hole's. There is water on most of the course and comes into play on many shots. Green's are beautiful and roll true.
I felt like I just walked into a pga event and was getting ready to play.
The course was in very good condition. Everybody was happy and glad to see you. Got fee driving range balls. Perfect weather. What else can you ask for.
Palm still Disney's best
We have played all the Disney courses for years and we still love The Palm the best - especially the opening 5 holes adjacent to the Polynesian. Course was in good condition but still needs a little love around the greens. Staff are always super nice and helpful. Fair price.
Great course and amazing staff but price is a bit much.
This is a beautiful golf course with a very well designed layout. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly and everything runs super smoothly.
The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is for the price they charge. I think at around $80-90 it would be a decent value for the course and test. But at $150 plus is just not justifiable to me.
Different sand in some bunkers???
No beverage cart for 8 1/2 holes and no ice (85’F)
No halfway facilities (drinks, food nor restrooms)
Greens are cut to a nice speed as compared to the slow & shaggy greens at Magnolia.
Not up to the normal Disney standards!
The course was in pretty good shape. There are a number of forced carries over water that caused the wife some problems. The decision of the club to not accept cash for food purchases was a surprise and possibly illegal in my opionion.
Okay
I pulled a groin muscle on 14th hole so I wasn’t able to finish the round, but, I was reasonably satisfied .
The course was excellent. The layout was fun and the course was in great shape. Service is always great and everything is well-organized. The only downside was 5 hours to complete the round…too long!!
Staff are all friendly and helpful, from the moment you arrive until you load the clubs back in the car. Course layout is great, no gimmick holes. Green rolled very true and a bit on the fast side but consistent. Only issue was the hole placement on several greens were right on a ridge and 10 foot putt became 20 foot putt coming back. On hole Two of us were below the hole and putted up to within a foot and ball rolled further back than where we started. Got to the 5th hole and there were 3 groups on the tee, so very slow
