Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Nice course
We played a round on Friday and the course was in good shape. I’d recommend it this time of year.
review
Heritage Harbor is always in great condition and a fun course to play. The greens, a bit on the slow side are beautiful, fairways nice and wide and cut close.....lots of water but most do not come into play; however a stray shot could get lost as the fairways are tight in places....looking forward to returning next month......
Solid course, great layout
Had a great time the other day, not the nicest course ive played on but for the price it was fantastic! Loved the layout, played from the tips (6800 yds) cause it was a bit short from the blues (about 6000 yds). From the tips theres a 263 yd par 3 where u hit through a 10 yd gap through the trees in front and it opens up to a lake and the green, must carry about 250 to get over the water, one my favorite holes ive played ever. It was challenging and beautiful, the course itself needs a bit of upkeep but i didnt have an issue. Loved playing here and will be back soon.
Good overall course
Staff at the pro shop could be a bit more “friendly” and welcoming. There was no cart service - and the worst part was all the bathrooms on the course were closed (locked), temperature was cold and the need to go to the bathroom was imminent.
difficult as it gets
I do not recommend that you play this course unless you would like your morning to become an all day project. Everything from checking in for my tee time, to getting a cart, to getting on the course was made as difficult as could be. I’m not sure what thinking went behind the way they handled things today or if their was any thinking behind it at all but I do believe if they had provided even the slightest bit of effort this experience could have been a great amount better.
Good
It was little wet cause it just rain but it was great. And the greens even though they were wet they were very nice Of course allows you to use about every club in your bag.
subjective reviews
Recent reviews stated greens were "fast and true". Did not find more the 3-4 that were in VG shape. Most had bare spots and poana, 7th green was covered. They were puttable at best. Tees and fairways were Ok. Fun course but needs improvement.
Fall Weather Play
The course was soggy in parts but overall played well.
On several holes (5-6) the greens had problems with weeds and bare patches. Traps were in good shape.
