Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

review
Heritage Harbor is always in great condition, greens are fast and smooth, fairways nice and wide and cut nice....however, there is some amount of water that could come into play with a less than straight shot....also can't play from off the fairway if you are into the wooded area....forget it! Looking forward to playing there again soon.....
It took over 5 hrs to play yesterday, We know the ranger was called out at least once for pace of play. After we saw him, he reported that he addressed the situation. He did not appear to have stayed to monitor the situation. The pace picked up for a hole or two, then slowed again.
The last time we played at Heritage Harbor, our round took over 4-1/2 hrs. Pace of play appears to be a problem at the course which management should address. The group behind us voiced their displeasure with the situation to us, as we waited to tee off at each hole.
Best shape I’ve seen the course in
Fairways, greens and tee boxes were in incredible shape. Some greens had some patches, but they never came in to play. The greens rolled perfectly. I hadn’t played here in a few years but after today, I will put this course back into my rotation.
Great first experience
First time playing here. The course was in pretty good shape. There were a few patchy areas on a few of the greens, but overall a really enjoyable round.
Good layout. Fair conditions.
Good layout. Challenging course. Felt a little squeezed in at times. Greens were in pretty bad shape. Tee boxes were not kept up with. Pace was a little slow.
Don't play here
The greens are horrific and fairways not much better. The clubhouse restaurant is closed so no food or drinks other than in the Pro Shop (no beers) and food being crackers. Or you get your drinks from ONE cart girl so you may get lucky and bump into her once. If you don't have a clubhouse then get 3 or 4 cart attendants out there. The overall experience with the course sucked. Only saving grace is no matter the conditions golf is still fun.
Too slow
With all this new people going to the golf course, just because covi is still everywhere, it’s hard to get a good round in.
Today for example, the group in front of us have no business, being in the golf course.
They can not get off the tee box, but the lady dress like an LPGA tour player, dress and everything.
Look , is fine you want to out there, but damm take lessons, but this also falls onto the rangers, they dont do anything.
The tees are back up with 3 groups watching this people trying to hit a ball off the tee box, and no one does anything, no rangers.
It’s brutal, ..
Restaurant is going under 4 month renovation and will reopen in mid November. Fairways and greens are in the best shape in a long time.
