About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Very dry fairways
The fairways were burn and in worse shape since I played a month ago. The green were soft and rolled well and the tee boxes were ok. I enjoyed my round but couldn't play the ball down as there wasn't any live grass to play from.
Great Round of Golfi
Nice Course that wraps through a gated community. No line ups, fairways and greens in great condition. A few challenging holes. Great price for this course. I'll be back.
FIRST TIME HERE
4 of us played here for the first time and all agreed it was worth the 1 hour drive to check it out.We will definitely be back. Good condition and greens are the speed we like challenging even to all of us old geezers.
Cool
Played with 6, two threesomes. Cold day, but had proper layers on and had fun. The course is in great shape. Fairways were well maintained with plenty of roll out. Don't know about bunkers, I missed them all. The greens were rolling nice. Only a few had some small repair spots. Very few unfixed pitch marks! The proshop, starter ,and cart lady were terrific. Give them all a raise! Had a great time, finished in 3hours 15 mins.
Disappointed
Average layout for a public facility. Uninteresting green complexes with tiny greens and unreceptive green surfaces. Fairway turf had no depth and were rock hard. Not worth the visit.

Fairways in poor condition. Bar not open. No way to buy a beer
Excellent Course and Value
This course is a 30 minute drive from metro Tampa, but is well worth the drive. Long and challenging layout. Excellent fairways and greens and tee boxes. The bar/restaurant was closed when we were there so I can't review the off-course amenities, and not much nearby for a post-round beer. But the prime time tee times are very reasonably priced for Florida snowbird season.
Not worth the money
Sorry, but this course was well below many others in the area that were less money. Fairways like cow pastures. Hard and not in great shape. Greens need work. Not impressed
Way too slow
I was playing well but it was Sunday afternoon. It was incredibly slow with no danger or starter in sight. Walked off after five holes because it was backed up on every hole. At that point it was taking about 25 minutes per hole. Learned my lesson playing on a Sunday afternoon. Of course now the prices are jacked up for no reason.
