Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

review
Heritage Harbor is always in fine condition and enjoyable to play, especially from the white tees.....the greens are excellent, fairways nice and wide and in good condition, but there is plenty of trouble if you spray your shots....looking forward to returning there again in the near future....
Greens are nice but everything else….
Greens, carts, and staff are all nice. Tees, fairway, rough, and especially the bunkers needs lots of TLC. Played it in the past and the front and back nine were switched I believe and I preferred that much better. Finishing hole was a dud. Overall course was in pretty rough shape but I didn’t mind the greens and to me that’s the most important part which is why I didn’t rate it lower
Heritage Harbor
Nice setup, took forever to play, Tuesday is league play do not go out when that is going on! Greens are average with plenty of sand! Rough has not been cut for awhile! No restaurant!
review
Heritage Harbor is always a fun course to play, but today it was very wet as we had to stop to seek shelter while the rain poured on us.....eventually cleared up.....greens were in excellent shape...the fairways could use some attention and the rough was wet and high.....just a couple of holes that proved costly to us high handicappers ......looking forward to our next round!
Good this time of year
The course has recovered from the long winter and lack of water. Definitely worth playing right now, I give it a 4 right now but during the winter it’s definitely a 2 from lack of watering. The course in the winter / spring is way to dry and is more like a dirt track. The day I played the course was super green and needing a good mowing but that was expected with all the rain we have had. Staff is friendly, carts are older but nice, pace of play could use a range, no beverage cart but most should bring their own water (it’s Fl) and the price is good $18 they could charge a little more 20-24$ and it would still be a good value. [right now]. They could use the money during the winter for watering so people can play more! I live 2 miles away and I like this course but when the rate is higher and the course is dry I play CHEVAL, Fox Hollow or Heritage Isles during the week.
Good Experience for the Average Golfer
Great facility although dining room not open yet post Covid. Some greens had a few dead patches, but generally okay. Course was really, really wet probably due to the recent heavy rain. All tee boxes in good condition. This is one of our go to rotational locations.
If you've not tried it, you should.
Not bad at the right rate
Not bad today haven’t played for about 8 months due to the course being in rough condition from lack of watering. But the course was nice and green today. T-Boxes l were decent fairways fine rough was deep, greens are ok, they have some dead areas but the holes are moved to the better location aka hit better shots! So a solid 4 right now which is way higher than what I would give it during winter.
