Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

I would recommend the course because it’s a nice layout. The greens were recently punched which made it tough to put but also every green had multiple dead spots which also hindered putting.
Great times
This Course is always beautiful with some challenging holes and really fun ones. And the staff is excellent, friendly and very knowledgeable I would recommend this Course for beginners to experience players
Course was nice but the play was super slow.
We had a very slow group in front of us which was only a group of two. We were a group of four and were playing faster than them. They course itself was nice though. Dirt in the sand trap is not preferred over sand.
Challenging
Very challenging layout. Had just been aerated so it was rough to putt. Need to have a Marshall as a single player came out of nowhere and cut in front of us. ( twosome) will be back
Horrific
I use to play here and pace of play has always been bad but the course is in horrific condition now. You can hit it dead center of fairway and still be in a sand trap. Tee boxes are just random mounds of sand so good luck finding a flat surface. Pace of play is the worst of any course I’ve ever been on. They have $1 a hole Tuesday’s and that is overcharging people. I honestly don’t think it would be worth paying $10 to play a round there. Golf shop employee was friendly. Also good luck finding water because there are no water fountains or buckets out.
Beware, stay far away!!
Do not waste your time going here. This is.by far the worst course I’ve played. Notice I didn’t say golf course. The fairways were like fields, the greens had no green and only sand and weeds. Poorly maintained and took 6 hours to play because they don’t monitor the start. 9:27 tee time and got to start at 11. Save your money and stay away!
Sunday play
Price was cheap but honestly did not matter. Fairways were mostly deadpan, the greens were aerated but were also in poor shape.
Prairie Golf
The course fairways were full of weeds, patches of dryness, and very uneven. The greens were being aerated and there were lots of patches and sand. The teeboxes were full of weeds and uneven. The bunkers were unkept and falling apart on the edges. Overall a poor course - even for $20 it was not value for money.
Nice
People that play need to know the rules and etiquette concerning pace of play, faster players usually play through slower ones. This should be emphasized at check in.
OK For The Money
Booked an early PM tee time. Course was very dry.
Fairways were firm allowing for lots of roll. Greens were moderate speed. Had some bare spots and weeds on some greens. The one unfortunate thing about the course is that many golfers threw their trash (beer cans/styro-foam cups etc..) in the woods and water hazards, rather than the trash cans.
Great value, shot maker course
No rain for weeks and the greens were still good. Fairways are dry but the ball set up fine. Sand traps were fluffy and raked. Challenging mid length course with payoff for accuracy. Played in 3 1/2 hr. Nice day.
super value
great course, play it often. NEED WATER fairways are very dry, have a great Bermuda grass base but needs fertilizer and water. Greens are in good shape. and
