The green were in good shape but the fare way could be better, lot of water,

Interested to see what kind of condition the course was in this year. Always a busy place with the range being popular. Not much fairway grass yet on the front nine and much better on the back. Same thing with the greens which were spotty and pitted on the front.

One peeve I have is with the management's perpensity to get players jammed in and off the first tee. Happens too often, groups are bunched up starting on the second tee which is a par 3.

Never saw a Ranger all day. Front nine was 2 hours and 45 minutes and lead to a 5+ hour round which we couldn't finish.

It was a beautiful day, the place was busy.....no need to push people off and be hearded like cattle.

Based on having played this course several times over the last 8 years and always enjoyed this tract, I have to concede the overall conditions of this venue have deteriorated significantly, in particular the majority of the greens I felt were just in terrible shape. The fairways in general were average and playable shape with a few exeptions.This used to be one of the premier places to play at a reasonable price, however I was disappointed in how things have gone downhill from previous years. The layout is still exceptional but if you're just interested in getting out to get some swings in then Baytree is the place to go.

Love to play there and will recommend it to my friends

The first four greens were horrendous large patches of grass that had been burned out or perhaps chemical damage. After that, the greens were OK.

The pace of play was ridiculous because they just tried to jam too many people in two few teetimes. At The 10th tee there were three groups. There was no way we could finish before darkness set in..

They overbook everything to make money and it took 5 hours to do 17 holes. Unacceptable when you are paying over 50.00 to play

We were warned before hand that the conditions are spotty. This was true, some greens have bald patches like male pattern baldness and the hoes aren’t anything special. Definitely played much better for the price and with a name like “National” was thinking it would be better shape. The group in front of us was a 5 some with 3girls that were “not playing” per the starter but they sure were when we got out on the course which caused some issues as they didn’t have their own clubs and the group only had two carts. Will not be playing there again.

Overall we were pleased. Some reviews we read were kind of sketchy, and frankly we were genuinely happy with the experience.

Some of the greens still need work, but fairways and Tee blocks were decent.

We had to let 4 single golfers through, which was a little annoying, but given it was Christmas Day, it was ok in the end.

I wouldn’t want to have to walk it…..LOL

Overall it was a good day. The course is in great shape except for a number of greens that were put-able, but need work.

Rain would help but there seemed to be enough water in ponds? Gas cart I had should be retired . . Cart girl was very friendly .
