Baytree GC
Beautiful layout , staff is very friendly and professional. The course needs major improvement fairways and rough are awful. Greens roll very nicely even though they have something on the greens ( disease) or lack of treatment.
Poor starter
We had a three golfer group after we teed off before we finished the first hole we had a single player behind us We left him play through two holes later another single then we saw another single player maybe the starter should put singles together then other could play without feeling pressured the whole time Even after letting two singles play through we finished under 4 hours for 18
Nice Layout
The greens looked worse than they are. Putts rolled well on most greens and some were bumpy. They need to have more holes with drinking water. The beverage cart did not come around at all during the round. We saw beverage cart at 10 tee box. Why there when we had to pass clubhouse at turn. They need to to talk to that lady. I will play there again to see if its improved.
Course Needs TLC
I have played here for years so it was a little sad to see the course in the condition it was. In fairness, maybe some of it is due to the recent hurricane but patchy fairways and rough made for some pretty bad lies. Greens rolled true but were not pretty to look at. Pace of play did not help the experience. The cart's electronic restrictions (turn off soon as you left the cart path) was maddening. The only real positive is that the staff let you bounce around to find an open hole when you are stuck waiting on two foursomes.
Post Hurricane Milton
The round was good but cart path only. Always tough to play golf in Florida after a hurricane. The tee box markers were not out in place on all holes which was weird. But overall the course was good given the circumstances.
Excellent layout but course condition needs much TLC
The golf course design, layout and holes were excellent.
The condition of the course was very poor, in need of some TLC. Very wet underfoot and scruffy, with many bare patches and poorly kept bunkers with little or no sand.
