About
The Country Club of Mount Dora is a semi-private club located 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando in the hills of Lake County. The course was built by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design and opened in 1991 and features water on 16 of 18 holes, as well as raised greens and bunkers. The course is set on mature landscape and affords views of the nearby horse farms and lakes. The par-72 course features bermuda grass tees and greens, plus three tee boxes to choose from. The country club is also home to a clubhouse, swimming pool and four tennis courts onsite.

Great layout. Some very tough holes. Plays tough in the wind. Accessible from 429. Worth the ride.

Great course, slow pace
Course is always in excellent condition and greens are like glass. Very fast and hard. Only complaint is the pace of play was extremely slow. Anytime it is a 5 hour round it’s not fun and enjoyable.

Course was very busy and still played in 3:45 for an after 12 tee time. Greens are excellent as is the overall course condition. The course is not long but does require you to be precise. For the price, it’s one of the best values in central Florida.

In good shape
Haven’t played here since the fall. Was concerned the conditions were going to be like so many other courses around here at this time of year. Fears unfounded, greens were great and fairways in great shape.
When other courses make excuses for their conditions, know this: it doesn’t have to be that way, Mt. Dora Country Club has their act together.

Great conditions and a fun layout
The staff was very nice and the starter was very personable. The layout is challenging and the conditions were some of the best I have seen in the area. Great value.

always a good time here
we have been here several times and although the course has it's challenges, the layout is good and the conditions are just fine We always enjoy MT.DORA.

5 hour round
good course in good condition but 5 hour round is not acceptable.

Impressed
First time here. Nice layout with some challenges. Playedin a foursome on a Tuesday at 12:45pm and finished in 4 hours.
