About
The Country Club of Mount Dora is a semi-private club located 35 miles northwest of downtown Orlando in the hills of Lake County. The course was built by Clifton, Ezell & Clifton design and opened in 1991 and features water on 16 of 18 holes, as well as raised greens and bunkers. The course is set on mature landscape and affords views of the nearby horse farms and lakes. The par-72 course features bermuda grass tees and greens, plus three tee boxes to choose from. The country club is also home to a clubhouse, swimming pool and four tennis courts onsite.

Fun track
Fun track. Tight fairways lots of water but fair and lots of fun. Excellent greens just a cple greens that we’re struggling with sogginess. Will play again
Great layout
This is just a fun and great course to play. Each hole has its own character. And it’s just a very enjoyable course. Period.

Fun track that is very playable from any tee box. Staff is friendly and course is in good shape overall. Greens are elevated and typically require an extra club for approach shots. We plan on playing again.

Love this course
This is a favorite.when we are vacationing in the area. The staff is friendly, the course is in great shape and we really like the layout! Thumbs up from Mn!!

Old Style Course in Florida
Thought I booked this course with Golf Now, but turned out I booked the other course in Mt Dora by mistake. Thankfully they had an opening for 3 and accomodated us. Course is short, but very narrow with the smallest greens I have ever played. Very unusual for a Florida course. Greens rolled true but were inconsistent. Some were fast, others not so fast. Will definitely play here again. Oh and from Coach, get the burger with American cheese and onion rings in the grill room, you wont be disappointed

Green’s check nice. Putts roll nice. Fairways are green. Kind of a feel good course but fun.

Shorty course
A nice shorty course that will get you up and get you really practicing with your irons, chipping, pitching and putting. Condition is not that bad at all, not great, but good enough to play and know how your game is doing.

Great conditions and very nice course!
Starting to play courses around Central Florida that I haven't played in my decades here. This was a very nice surprise. Played at 7:30 in the morning on a Sunday and there were several open tee times around ours. Zipped around in under 4 hours. Very nice conditions on the course. Bunkers had not been raked and didn't have a ton of sand in them but the greens rolled well and were nicely maintained.
This is a pretty tight course with either houses or water on both sides. The men's locker room needs some attention and is probably the original from 70s-80s but functional. Will definitely play this course again.

We had an afternoon tee time. Pace if play was great. Played in less than 4 hours.
