About
This 18 hole championship course opened in 1992 and was designed by Bill Amick. The shady fairways are bordered by huge sprawling oaks and towering pines, nestled in the shadows of Bulow and Tomoka State Parks in Ormond Beach. The course features five elevated tee boxes and fast, contoured, highly manicured greens adequately protected by traps. A unique experience for the golfer who enjoys not only a challenge but also extraordinary scenery.

Play it
Played on a cool and windy morning. The blue tees are long enough! Course was in good shape and some fairways and approach areas starting to recover. Ina few weeks it will be great shape as crews are out and busy. These are the best greens Ive seen in the area, firm, fast and smooth. The starter and clubhouse staff were great, I recommend it anytime and will be back for sure.

Nice course
We played on a Monday using the Hot Deal. We were paired with two gentlemen and had an enjoyable round. Pace of play was acceptable at 4 1/2 hours. The course was in pretty good shape and the greens were fast. Some tee boxes were pretty bare. We will play again when in the area.
Nice layout, Green speed was very good…made quite difficult with some challenging pins. I look forward to playing it again.
Somewhat rude!
It was not a welcoming environment. I had interactions with four employees, two were friendly and two were rude. If you don’t have good people skills, you should find another job. Aside from that, the greens were excellent, the fairways and bunkers were good, but the tee boxes were poor.

They are in great shape nice job getting them to this point.
Overbooked
I have an 1140 teatime through Golf that now arrive. They said that I needed to go buy off by myself which I did around the 10th hole. I ran into a group of men’s group completely five groups stacked up at a tea tee off waited over 20 minutes Went to the clubhouse see if I could get a rain check and I was informed very rudely by Joe pro that absolutely not! This is a club that I play on a Thursday golf league every week through the summer! Never have experience how rude to people at the clubhouse were or at the pro shop ! I will never play there again!
Way too slow
Lots of staff, but no one would pace the play. There was a foursome two holes in front of us that slowed everyone down. Took 3.5 hours to play 14 holes and then we left. Not worth the money if this slow. Pathetic
The clubhouse was great. Putting greens better than average.
