Halifax Plantation
About
This 18 hole championship course opened in 1992 and was designed by Bill Amick. The shady fairways are bordered by huge sprawling oaks and towering pines, nestled in the shadows of Bulow and Tomoka State Parks in Ormond Beach. The course features five elevated tee boxes and fast, contoured, highly manicured greens adequately protected by traps. A unique experience for the golfer who enjoys not only a challenge but also extraordinary scenery.

Great greens
The front line was in much better condition than the back nine In terms of fairways. The greens were impeccable throughout. The hot deal was around $59 which is a bit pricey, considering the backline condition. It could be the time of the year coming out of winter. I only play here when I’m I come down for March and April
Great greens
Probably the best local greens under $50. Really nice and fast. Course is coming along , tee boxes suck but I is okay don’t judge by that. Some spots without grass and still abit thin but nice track
Peaceful
Course setting is very pleasing every hole is individual winding through grounds, greens rolled great and are big, plays long very forgiving wide fairways, Practice areas are great, after spending a month in Florida where it seems there is constant noise everywhere this was such a peaceful enjoyable round in the beautiful plantation setting, would recommend this course and definitely play again..
Best in area
Course is coming along and fairways are greening up. Best greens of and public course within 30 miles. I would come back regularly.
Terrific greens
First time playing Halifax Plantation and an overall good experience. Good layout, great greens! Tees and fairways need some TLC. Got paired with another single and we played behind (at least) 3 other twosomes(?). Pace seemed slow but finished 18 holes in 4 hours.
