About
This 18 hole championship course opened in 1992 and was designed by Bill Amick. The shady fairways are bordered by huge sprawling oaks and towering pines, nestled in the shadows of Bulow and Tomoka State Parks in Ormond Beach. The course features five elevated tee boxes and fast, contoured, highly manicured greens adequately protected by traps. A unique experience for the golfer who enjoys not only a challenge but also extraordinary scenery.

Good condition
Fairways and greens are in good shape. Layout is fun. Only wish we had a beverage person on a warm day.

This course is always in very good shape every time i play it
I thought the price was a little high, almost 60 bucks with the fees and tax. Should be summer rates by now..
Ladies tee boxes were moved.to the sairway on some holes, others were dirt. I can see theyre working on them. Greens.are always in good shape.
It's trying to come back
Havent played here in a year and a friend warned me there was alot of bald areas in The fsreway and around the greens. Greens rolled well but didn't match the practice putting green slowness. I was so disappointed in the areas around the greens. Just not good. You can't play to short sided flags when There is no grass or clumps or grass from rain runoff . Overall. Love the layout and with some more work it can get back to where it used to be and we'll worth the $$$. Pace of play was good but we were also last group out before a tournament. Never waited on anyone in front of us
Love this course but that is it!
Great greens and very fun. Love the design and well maintained overall. Cart guy must be someone’s relative - would not work for me ever. No food, no on course beverage cart, no water on the course, no marshals and the range is terrible. The practice putting green looked great but was closed and roped off. Something classified must be buried there. No dress code. Range balls $11. Golf Now saved big money.
Tight Fairways & Undulating Greens
The fairways are tighter than many courses and the greens are tough due to the multiple undulations. Hopefully the fairways and tee boxes fill out during Spring growing season.

Hard to find nice grass anywhere
We were greeted by a friendly bag handler this morning and checked in quickly and grabbed a small bucket of balls. This course had been one of our favorites here in the Daytona area. Generally the layout presents many fun shots and continues with challenging greens. The biggest dissapointment today by far were the course conditions. Today even well placed shots could not find nice grass.The condition of the grass from teebox to green was so disappointing. The entire course is covered in weeds. A large weed holding the ball on a hill and weeds thick in many greens bouncing the ball all over. Sadly, it will be awhile before we return. So many other options in top condition closeby.
