Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

Best Golf on the Space Coast
My family vacations in Cocoa Beach every year, and Viera East is an annual stop. In fact, it may be the best 3 hours of the week. Scenic course with a moderate level of challenges. Hole 17 is my personal favorite 😉.
Great course
Double excellent on staff friendliness - everyone. I really enjoyed this course. The tee boxes were all in good shape. The fairways were beautiful and your ball sat up nicely. Rough very reasonable but fairways were very wide. Greens were fairly quick and putted true. Maybe one dogleg. Layout good but not outstanding. Will definitely be back. Even the members were friendly.

Allowing Inappropriate and Racist Behavior
I had racial slurs shouted at me and was physically threatened on the course after putting up with 4-5 holes of other insults (all coming from the group of drunk guys playing behind us). Our group’s/my complaints were then dismissed because “there are 2 sides to every story”. There were no consequences for the other groups racist behavior. I’m never coming back here again.
Great value and in good condition
Course was in very good shape and very reasonable pricing. Round was $65 as a single. Would definitely recommend playing
Best public course in Brevard county
In this golf “wasteland “ called Brevard county this is the best condition, layout and value.
Speed Round
Played as single through first 11 holes. Got behind foursome and skipped hole. Played last five holes with other single. Total round of 2 1/2 hours. Course was in very good shape. Greens were a bit slower than normal but ran true.
A fun day
Played Viera East for the second time. Conditions were good and staff was friendly. Greens were in great shape. My only complaint is the noise level on two holes where we were next to I95. Other than that, which cannot be fixed, it was a great day!
pretty good
always in great shape, the desk attendant was your typical old school guy (angry to be there) that you used to encounter at the golf course, subtly hostile, wanted to chastise whenever he could (iE when the carts needed to be in) as if we had already brought them in late when we hadn't even went out, they were in on time, it seems as if he felt his job was to bust balls, with the rates being on the higher end in the county i could see someone going somewhere else after dealing with him
Just visiting, new course
Very nice course for 'scratch' to 20+ handicap player. Bermuda greens were in really good shape, rolling a very consistent 10 all greens.

One of me and my golf buddies go to golf courses when we can get the hot deal t times.
