About
Bordering the Indian River, Viera East Golf Club sprawls across a landscape of sparkling blue lakes and native marshland that is accented with towering pines and cypress trees. The well known layout is considered one of the best and most affordable public golf courses in Florida. The course features large, undulating greens that are carefully protected by numerous bunkers and risk-reward opportunities that will challenge even the lowest handicappers. Although the course offers a fairly formidable test, beginners will be comforted by the wide fairways that have ample bailout room. Viera East Golf Club's eighth and ninth holes are a memorable duo, beginning with a short par 4 that is the best birdie opportunity on the course. The ninth is another par 4 with water all along the left and trees along the right. Both holes are made even more challenging with strategic bunkering along the greensides.

My go to course
We've been coming to FL from MI for over 20 years. Until just 2 years ago I discovered Viera East. Now this course is my go to course when we come to Florida. Really nice course and good rates compared to other course's in the area. I would definitely tell anyone to give it a try.
Great Condition & fun to play
Have played Viera East a number of times over the last decade. The layout is fair for golfers of every ability. There are 6 sets of tees to choose from so it shouldn’t be a problem. The course is in terrific shape. They aerated the greens a couple of weeks ago & they’re in good shape but the fairways and tees boxes are also in real good shape. There is one minor drawback and that is the holes that play near I-95. It does get a little loud but by no means don’t let that stop you playing a terrific course. And one more important point, the staff. Everyone has a smile. Enjoy your round!

Nice Course
Pace of play excruciating. Up to 4 groups in a few holes. Fairways and greens in very good condition..

Getting Better
Greens getting better after aerification a few weeks ago. Overall conditions are good.

Great shape
Course was in great shape for summer. Bunkers need some TLC. Ans the greens were recovering nicely from being punched. Firm and good speed if a little bumpy.
Nice but pace is super slow expect a 5 hour round
Love the course but it’s full of old people that take forever
Nice layout.
Almost every hole is driveable. Friendly front office. Nice selection in the grill. Beautiful range. Great home course.
Condition
Tees need help, fairways cut really short good for pros and single diget hcs. Greens punched recently, but putted well. Nice layout and usually in better shape.

Great Course!
We enjoyed this course. Good layout, but the recent aeration was a surprise and definitely wreaked havoc on our putting game.
My Favorite Brevard County Course
Round took 4 hours as my threesome was behind a foursome that was behinh another group that slightly held them up. Weather was high 80s but with a pleasant breeze. Twosome I played with were teachers at Trinity School and I enjoyed their company. My game rotated between douple boogies and pars but overall it was an excellent day on my favorite course in Brevard.
