The Golf Club of Cypress Creek

The 4 of us quit after 9 since we were 20 mins late teeing off and then every tee had 3 or 4 groups. It took us 3 hours and 15 mins to play 9 holes. It was awful so much waiting. I stopped counting my score after 2 holes and did not enjoy golfing 9 holes. We all said we would never finish back 9 so we went in and got 1/2 money back thru Golfnow. The courses down here push so many players out it is crazy waiting, saying snow birds are here. Plus in front we saw group of 2 then 4 then another group of 2. That should never happened when you are so busy but starter was useless and nothing really there.

If you don’t mind waiting and taking long time to play a round then this course is good for you.

This track has so much potential. Has went down hill since last year this time patchy fairways, weeds starting to infest greens. The starter was a tool and the greens fees have increased. All things considered, for the money i will not be back.

Although it was a 5 hour round , which is 45 mins better than past rounds, we followed a group of seven players. Their time on the greens were very frustrating waiting for 7 players to putt out.

No Marshall's and the attitude is " It's that time of the year"

Just know going in, that it may be a long day!

A real challenge not like any Florida course you've played unless you've been to Innisbrook

I played on Saturday 2:07 the first 9 holes took 3hours and 20 minutes. They cram tee times at 7 minutes intervals. So the course gets crazy backed up. They refuse to put a ranger out there to keep pace of play. The slowest round in Tampa area. The only way they will do anything is no one book there for a couple of weeks and maybe they will spread out the tee times or spend money on a ranger. Right now its the worst course in Tampa as far as time. I take that back Bloomingdales is historically slow because they are under the same ownership. Quit playing that course about 2 years ago.

The 4 of us with Golfnow all quit after 9 since tee off time was 1:15 and it was 4:40 after 9. Started 20 mins late to start off and then there was 3-4 groups on each tee box so you waited so long. It was not fun golfing with so much waiting. We were so frustrated golfing 9 that all of us who did not know each other said let’s go to clubhouse and get 1/2 money back since we would never finish back 9 in time and did not enjoy golfing front 9. I stopped counting my score since I was not playing good golf being frustrated with how long it was taking.

So if you want to play a 5-6 hour game then book otherwise stay away.

Good layout. Starter could have done a better job keeping the golfers on time.

Onboard GPS told us we were 115 minutes behind. Very slow, waited on every shot. No RANGER

Tee sheet was 20 minutes behind before 11 a.m. Three groups on the second tee made it apparent it was going to be a long day, and it really was. Starter has to do a better job or the tee times need to be spread out more. Greeens were in good shape and ran pretty quick. Tee boxes and fairways were reasonable. Course could use a leaf blower. Hot deals price was quite good for Florida golf in winter. Wouldn’t go out of my way to play it again, but it’s not a bad option — if they can improve pace of play.

Please put someone out there to manage pace of play.

tee time was 1pm, no carts, had to load our own bags once a cart arrived, got to the first tee and 4 foursomes waiting, fairways beaten up every shot had to be tipped up due to lack of grass, tee blocks need attention, greens average condition, finished 6.15 to find the club house, pro shop all locked up, no bathrooms open, only one poor sole cleaning carts, no management to be found, sorry but just being honest of our experience.
