About
The Golf Club at Cypress Creek is a full service, 18-hole semi-private facility. Located just 25 minutes south of Tampa on I-75 at exit 240, this is a must-see club featuring a meticulously maintained championship course. It is designed on rolling terrain around 600 acres of pristine conservation wetland with multi-tiered tees, undulated greens, numerous bunkers and lakes. Great Layout. Excellent value golf course with a very enjoyable restaurant.

Worthwhile
Very nice layout conditions were good for mid March. Bunkers had shells and small rocks as all courses in Florida seem to have. Worth the hour drive from Anna Maria
Not bad could be better
Due to some of the conditions on the course, I would not play again for $50 but i actually enjoyed the layout of the course. Im sure in great condition this course is beautiful and amazing. The staff was very helpful and polite, so thats always a plus for me. I went on St. Patty’s day so the pace was bad only for that reason. My only complaint is there was never any water out on the course! Overall I would recommend to friends, but would tell them to just make sure the course is in good condition before paying $50.
Just not worth it
Pros: Bartender was nice. Range was in good condition.
Cons: Most everything else. Greens are awful. Bunkers look bad. Trash lines the water. Literally trash everywhere. Pace of play was so slow until the group in front of us dropped, but 4 groups on a hole at times.
Layout is ok, allows you to hit driver and work some shots, but there’s so much better quality golf for the same or comparable price nearby. Won’t play here again.
A cold day if Florida
It was about 52 degrees with light rain for the first 9 holes. Play was slow and took about 5 hours. The course condition was not as good as the last time we played but was acceptable.
Good test
Greens fast and undulating. Lots of sand traps. Course in good shape. Watch out for false fronts and going over the back of greens. Water on most holes. Doglegs might not want to use your driver unless you can move the ball.
Disappointing
I golfed here about 6 weeks ago and although the pace of play was slow, overall course conditions were quite good. Today, the course had deteriorated quite a bit with poor green conditions, tee placements were 30-40 feet wide and multiple past hole cuts were in the proximity of the current hole which suggest to me the petson doing these things arent golfers. Several bad areas on the greens.
