The Golf Club of Cypress Creek

Before playing you need to understand that there is new ownership and they are in process of making improvements. The course layout is great, challenging, and condition is good overall. The driving range has very little grass to hit off of at this time. My biggest complaint was that they didn’t have enough golf carts and the guy bringing them around after cleaning didn’t communicate who the next cart was for with several people waiting. This used up practice time.

I understand the course is under a new ownership so they get a pass, for now…

This course needs some TLC to get into an acceptable condition. Tee boxes and the “rough” need a huge overhaul. The greens are very slow but are headed in the right direction.

I will hope by next year this course gets to 4 or 5 stars!

Tee times are too close together... not enough carts to go around. Very disappointing and long day of golf.

Under new management a lot going on in a positive way. Bar is now open good service good atmosphere. Greens and fairways are in good shape t-boxes need a little Care . I'm ready to play again

Course was challenging. Great target golf. Greens were good. Will definitely play again

If you like playing 18 holes in 51/2 hours behind a 5some, then Cypress Creek is the course for you!

I've held back my poor review for this course because I play it quite often. Good price for good conditions, but lately the pace of play and lack of starter have made it unbearable. This course was recently purchased by a large corporation and it's clear they are more worried about packing the course then managing it. 4 straight rounds we tee'd off 25+ mins after our supposed tee time. This past weekend we were jumped by a group trying to play 6 all together. I had to find a worker at the course (poor kid) and force him to do something about it. Absurd, and then the round took 5:10! Forth straight round over 5 hours too. Sorry, but I'm done with Cypress Creek. Spending $50-75 a round at a well managed course is money better spent.

We have played at Cypress Creek around 10 times in the last few months and we like it because the price is better then other courses. I would like to more grass to hit off of in the fairways. At time there is nothing to hit off of but bear ground. As we know the way to get this done is to put lots of water on it. I work at a golf course so I have some idea what that takes. The new owners are improving the course and I hope soon it will get better.

I was a member a few years ago when the course was in fantastic shape. The old owners let it go down! I’m excited to see how new ownership can bring it back to one of the most challenging courses in the area.
