The Golf Club of Cypress Creek

I love this course I love the layout but I don’t know how they can charge so much given the current conditions. Greens are rolling nice but many have replacement spots and sand. The rough is meant to be longer and I like that but it needs to be evenly long, just letting it grow doesn’t mean is consistent from spot to spot.

Again I love this course and the conditions were not terrible but if you are going to charge $60+ then that place should be tip top shape.

Enjoyed playing here. Slow pace and folks going off on #10 made for an even slower pace but overall I would recommend playing here.

Course well overbooked. 5.5 hours to play. Lots of waiting on most shots

I never write reviews after my rounds, so I will make this somewhat short. It took my group 3 hours to play the front nine. After the 9th hole we went straight to the car and left. You know it’s a bad sign when you don’t get a cart until 3 minutes before your tee time.

2nd time playing this course. Nice greens except for one green in minor repair. Friendly staff, GPS on the golf carts and challenging layout. The only issue I have is the pace of play. My group was 40 plus minutes behind, which I thought was ridiculous. If I could make a recommendation it would be to have a Marshall actively on the course directing first timers to keep up with pace of play. I will play it again, but praying the night before for a faster pace, seriously.

Had a great time playing this curse. A good challenging course. Ball placement at times is very key. Greens were in great condition. Fairways were a tad rough. Will for sure play again.

Everyone playing due to holiday. Not enough carts and cart died but over all a good day.

Arrived at course 30 minutes before tee time to find no available parking spots and 20 people standing around waiting for carts. Finally got a cart and teed of 30 minutes after scheduled tee time. Played first hole in normal amount of time and then proceeded to wait to tee off on the next 17 holes. Round took over 5 hours to complete and never saw one ranger to move along people looking for balls in the water, taking mulligans on every hole, not raking traps. New owners better get their act together.

The last two times that we played this course they were out of golf carts, and it resulted in our tee time being 30+ minutes late.

Love this course, I was excited to see new owners that are planning to invest in much needed improvements (grill, tee boxes, range etc). First time playing since they took over and they overbooked the tee times, 6 minutes apart. We waited on every hole and finished in 5 hours, way too slow. Hoping they get a starter and ranger out there soon. Best layout in the area and the greens are nice.

Played this on Friday morning. First tee was backed up with 4 groups. We did finish in 4.40. Course layout is nice and fairways and greens were good. I would play this course again as the pricing was right.

The course was packed, so needless to say, it was a slow round. They could really use a ranger! The course wasn’t in very good shape, but the back 9 seemed a little better than the front 9. It was disappointing.
