The Natural at Beaver Creek Resort
About
The Natural at Beaver Creek Resort sits along the western shore of Otsego Lake. As its name implies, the course blends seamlessly into the beautiful surroundings. The challenging layout requires accuracy so don't let the scenery distract you too much. Trees line the meandering fairways and water hazards come into play throughout. Strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greensides as well. The front nine is somewhat tight but the back nine spreads out nicely. Before finishing the front nine, golfers will face one of the course's toughest holes, the par-4 eighth. This tricky risk-reward hole has trouble everywhere, including tall pines, two water hazards, and bunkers. You can play it safe with a long iron or 3-wood down the right but you'll be facing an intimidating and long carry over wetlands.

This course has great features and especially pretty in the fall.
As the name suggested the lateral hazard appears natural but not too difficult to overcome.
Excellent condition
Played this course years ago was shocked at all the improvements and the great condition of the course!!
this course makes u use all clubs - long & short
great course - green need some work - overall this is a great place to play
course in great shape
golf course in superb condition, pace of play horrendous, 51/2 hours. booked a shotgun tournament in the middle of saturday's tee times.
Good course layout. Very soft greens.
First time I played the course and would not hesitate to go back. Maintained very well. Not super long but enough of a challenge. Greens were very receptive to shots, even long irons. Greens putted true. The first time out though there are a couple of holes that dog leg and if you hit the ball long enough, you can go through the fairway and into the woods. Not a real problem though.
Very well maintained and nice staff
A great location to golf. Few people are aware of this best kept secret!
Nice Course
Played this course on a Saturday afternoon, weather was cool. There was no wait on any tee box. The course was really nice, but very tight. If you hit them straight all was good, if not hello trees or marsh!
Good Test of Golf
Playing from the tips gives this course just enough variety to use most of the clubs in your bag. A few blind shots that you need to drive ahead and take look. Great finish with a short par three and a challenging par four.
Wow! That was a great golf course. Greens are immaculate, fairways are pristine.
I will be back! Who needs to be a private course member if you can play such a quality golf course?
Course was pretty fun
For the price couldn't beat it, but obviously there are some thing that need help, the one bunker I was in on 16 had a fair amount of rocks in it, after mowing greens earlier sat morning they didn't do any cleanup around the collars of green so there were some mower tracks left behind on edges of greens where they drop the mower deck and start cutting but the greens themselves were fine. Overall good experience and happy I played there.
Okay
Course was in good condition, except for some of the tee boxes needed to be cut. Also, there was no drinking water available.
Challenging and fun
The course is extremely hilly, which means your drive determines your score. That being said, I have played this course every year for the last three years, and the staff is always nice and the course is never over booked. The cost is minimal, so whether you like hilly courses or not, it is worth trying.
deal of the century
Got out for $21/man on a Sunday (father's day) morning. Would have been happy paying the normal prince of $55. The course was empty. The whole course had been cut, greens were a little slow, but very smooth.
Not a long course, but very entertaining. If it wasnt competing against the premium courses in the area, this would be a very popular track.
Views were great and the greens were large.
The course was in very good condition. There seemed to be more grassy areas going up to the trees which provided a plush appearance.
This course is a good challenge
This course was empty when we played. The staff was alright, but the prices for Gatorade was a little high (not a big deal when we only paid $22). We got around 18 in 2 hours and 10 minutes. There was absolutely no one out there on a beautiful Friday night. The course itself was in solid condition. The bunkers could've been edged, but that is more for looks than actual playability. Anything else that should be done on a golf course was done.
Lacks direction to holes and cart paths are in bad shape.
Narrow fairways, uneven turf, lots of trees and uneven tees make this course very difficult for the long ball hitters.
Just the right mix of sand, water and trees
Pristine course, After playing 5 courses in the gaylord area , I'd pick this as our second favorite. Anywhere else it would be on top of our list. The whole course was in excellant shape. From the tee boxes, fairways and greens. Can't wait to return and play this course again.
