About
The Natural at Beaver Creek Resort sits along the western shore of Otsego Lake. As its name implies, the course blends seamlessly into the beautiful surroundings. The challenging layout requires accuracy so don't let the scenery distract you too much. Trees line the meandering fairways and water hazards come into play throughout. Strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greensides as well. The front nine is somewhat tight but the back nine spreads out nicely. Before finishing the front nine, golfers will face one of the course's toughest holes, the par-4 eighth. This tricky risk-reward hole has trouble everywhere, including tall pines, two water hazards, and bunkers. You can play it safe with a long iron or 3-wood down the right but you'll be facing an intimidating and long carry over wetlands.

Nice Surprise
I had played here a few years ago and it wasn't in good shape at all. This was a totally different experience. Course was in great condition, well watered despite the dry weather and well manicured. The only area requiring improvement would be that the traps needed raking and care.
Very enjoyable
Really was pleased at this course and its conditions. Greens were true and maintained well.
Great Track
Had a group of 8 and came across this hidden gem. Great track for the price. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about their course. The course is pretty tight and short, but definitely some reachable and challenging eagle opportunities if you can stomach it. The greens were in pristine condition and rolled true. Some quirky par 3s playing at around 100 yards but fun shots that you can find yourself in trouble if you miss the turf.
Would recommend this course to anyone and hope I get up there again. The starter even let us return to hole 1 to duel it out in a playoff #classact

We had an awesome round of fall golf. course was in great shape.
Challenging
Course was wet due to some showers, but was in great shape. Would recommend but not for the faint of heart.
Great course
Really enjoyed playing this course. Fairways are narrow making it.challenging. Should have used irons more often but still had a great time!

Good course, great value
This is such a fantastic course for the money. Compared to what I'm used to around Chicago, I think this was a really great course. I'm glad I found an amazing deal on GolfNow. Staff are so nice and friendly. The holes are well designed, well maintained, but have a lot of trees. When we went out, there weren't a lot of people, so we finished 18 in about 4 hours, after taking 15-20 minutes on the turn to snack and drink. Next time I fly to Traverse City, I'm driving up here and playing another 18 for sure.

The Natural is a very well maintained, challenging golf course in beautiful northern Michigan. We played all 18 holes, it was challenging and there is alot of variation. Its quiet and the facilities are pristine. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. I will go back.
Beautiful course.
Challenging course. We had a fun day. You must keep it in the fairway hard course to scramble for par. A few greens were sanded. I'm guessing they were being repaired. But all the other greens and fairways were in excellent shape. I was not sure why some of the sand traps were rocky considering sand is so abundant. That is a cheap quick fix. Great golf value!!!
Vacation golf
Searched Golf Now for course in N MI area for nephew & I to play. Stumbled on to this great course. Lots of hills but they actually tend to drain ball back towards most fairways Greens in excellent shape semi-fast. Real sand in bunkers and a few surprise hazards. Had a great time there.

Hidden gem
First time to play this course.. Staff friendly got us in and out early due to a group going out that they knew would slow play down..
Greens were in great shape. Glad I had my GPS with me for some of the water holes!!

Enjoyable
Really nice course... If you are in the Gaylord area, make sure to put this one at the top of your short list... We where the only ones on the course. Maybe because I was the only one dumb enough to play in those conditions... The weather was my only complaint.

A day to remember
Beautiful course with a fun and slightly challenging layout. Greens tees and fairways all in excellent condition, just keep it in the fairway because the rough was exactly that. Worth the trip everything about the day was perfect.
A great place to play
Staff very friendly and accommodating. The food is good albeit a buck or two pricey. But as to the golf...a very nice course. Challenging but not extremely. Greens were tracked up by our late round but still able to roll the ball well. Tee boxes also got a workout but very nice views from the back set. Golf here, you'll enjoy it very much!

What a pleasant find while on a golf trip to Gaylord, Mchigan. The staff was very accomodating and the course was in great shape...
