Hidden in the folds of the Southern Nevada desert is the lush oasis of Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. The abundance and variety of water features characterize the golf course. Ponds and lakes come into play frequently. There are also mature palms lining the gently rolling fairways and generous greens. The club is known for the immaculate maintenance of the verdant tropical landscape. The course is player-friendly while at the same time offering Las Vegas golfers some unexpected challenges. The layout boasts a set of four impressive par 3s including the scenic third hole, which requires a tee shot over a pond. The designer, Ted Robinson, touted the holes as the best he's ever designed. Rolling mounds and strategic bunkering as well as the occasional multi-tiered green make the golf course more difficult, but there are wide fairways and ample landing areas to provide a balance. The playability of the course combined with the reasonable rates, especially for Las Vegas golf, has earned the club a popular following.

Decent track, decent value

Overall a good experience playing this course and I have nothing overly positive or negative to say. I'd play it again, which is more than I would say for some of the other courses I played on this trip. $80 for the round felt a bit rich relative to some of the other deals I got, but still nice to have the variety.

Fun at Rhodes Ranch

The course was in beautiful condition. The layout was challenging, but not punishing. Pace of play was a bit of an issue.

Best $100 in LV

This may simply be the best course around 100 bucks in LV. The grass conditions were perfect. Fairways were manicured, greens rolled amazingly, rough was a great length. Bunkers were 8/10. Some (just a few) could use a little extra sand, but overall they were good. Driving into Rhodes Ranch is gorgeous. The variety of holes is very good. Beware of driver on a few places. Range was large. Practice areas are very good. Food at the clubhouse restaurant was great. Pace of play was atrocious, 5:05 to play 18. But, I was out to enjoy the day and Rhodes Ranch did not disappoint.

Dishonest staff. Do not care about non-residents. Not worth the cost.

Had a tee time for 4, one had a medical issue and could not play, course told me they would only charge me for the 3 and it would be up to Golf now whether I would get billed for the 4th. Turns out this decision is made by the course, and they just fed me some BS to push me along and get their money.

Course is nice, but not worth the $110 a non-resident has to pay,

Felt like they do not care about non-residence players, spoke down to us, felt like we were an inconvenience to them, to top it off all residence players also received free drink tickets.

If you come from out of town, pick another course....

Rhodes Review

From the moment you enter the gated (security) residential community, everything is top-notch especially the course.

Both Pro Shop and starter attendants were professional.

The greens were probably the best I played all week (of the 4 courses). Fast and all true.

Fairways all cut to perfect length, all green with very little bare marks, if any, throughout.

Traps were all raked and only got out of 1, with ease.

Overall, the layout was great with no 2 holes the same.

Finishing stretch of 15 - 18 are awesome and a tru test, particularily from back tees.

Course offers a nice range and putting/chipping green.

Top Notch golfing facility. Definitely would play again.

Decent course but way too slow

I think they have groups go out every 6min and it backs up immediately with a 20min wait at the 3rd hole.

Course is decent, not difficult, pretty good shape. But not worth it for a 5.5-6hr round

Just a pretty course

The course itself is beautiful, but that’s it. Provided a cooler with ice, but no water. I only recall seeing 1 or 2 coolers on the course to refill a water bottle if you brought your own. No ball washers on the tees, no towels, and no GPS on the cart. If you don’t mind not having any of those, it’s a good course to play.

Rhodes Ranch jewel in the desert

Played Rhodes Ranch fir the second time. What a wonderful course. Conditions were superb with greens in great shape. Traps, fairways and tee boxes all well maintained. Love the layout with all holes different and beautifully landscaping. A bit of a drive for me but we'll worth. Staff friendly upon arrival, cart girl a kick and super friendly. Pace was nice. Played in a little under 4 hours with 8am tee time. Only criticism would be range with mats only but good enough to get loose. Definitely will return.
