Siena Golf Course
About
Gripping it and ripping it may be in vogue, but course architect team Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt are not going to let that be the extend of your strategy at Siena Golf Club.
This Las Vegas course is about shot-making more than bombing away. Siena's 97 pot bunkers are arranged to force frequent strategic decisions. Sometimes discretion is the better part of scorecard valor at Siena.
Hooking the ball every which way is paid for dearly at Siena. It's best to go with the clubs you can hit reasonably straight and give up a little distance.
Views of the surrounding mountains are complemented by six different water bodies, including Lake Siena. You'll be strategizing in some striking scenery.
"I don't think you'll come away impressed with this course," marketing director Mick Toscano said. "I think you'll come away awestruck."

Beautiful day in Vegas Photo submitted by u000005603476 on 03/19/2013
Top 5 im Vegas easy
I play a lot of golf, atleast 3 times a week and ive been to almost every course in Las Vegas except the Wynn. Me and my buddy always get paired with the best people which makes any course 10x better! Course is amazing, a lot of hazards and open fairways. My only complaint would be the people who play there do not repair their divots and end up making them look worse then they are. After reseed the greens never looked so clean and then people ruin them. The staff are all friendly and the starter is hilarious! Love this course and this will be a frequent visit for me and my buddies!
Excellent conditions right now
This is a retirement community course that is skeptical of every outsider. The starter literally followed me down hole 1 to watch and see if I would do anything nefarious. The course sends messages on the cart in capital letters about pace of play, while cramming as many people on the tee sheet as possible with 8 minutes tee time intervals. I would only recommend playing here when the tee sheet is empty in front of you.
If you can deal with the odd starter behavior, attempts at being shaken out of money on par 3's for "charity", and find a spot on the tee sheet with no one in front of you, it's a nice course to play. The layout is fun and not too challenging with large elevated greens, wide fairways, and a good amount of strategically placed bunkers. There are beautiful mountain views and a variety of desert vegetation with a few water hazards. You have downhill par 3's, par 3's over water, long par 3's, doglegs, water hazards running down the side of a hole, front green bunkers, elevated greens, and strategically placed pins.
The course is in excellent condition right now and gets plenty of water. The greens are soft, the rough is over an inch thick, and there's plenty of seed on the fairways and greens. The tee boxes are flat and in good condition. The rough is thick and green. The fairways are well watered. Greens roll well for a public course. I played a nearby country club a week before Siena and preferred Siena.
Full price while doing overseed.
They still pushed 4somes out every 8 minutes while the entire course was frazed for overseed.
A long day at Siena
I made a teetime for me and my friend who lives in Vegas to play. I rented clubs. They were decent Callaway big Bertha‘s. Course was in pretty good shape. Some of the greens were a little bumpy, but overall, I would say the conditions were slightly above average. Pace of play was the worst part took us just over five hours. Cart girl came around a couple times. Paid 190 to play and the rentals which I consider average. I would’ve preferred to play somewhere else, but this was kinda last minute and the only thing available. Value is typical of what you would expect to pay.
No Buenos
1st off 25 min behind teetime......charging 100.00 + for fairway punched fairways...... moon crater divots....FIX YER DIVOTS PEOPLE...... 6 HR RD WHATTA JOKE......HOT DOGS ARE BOMB THOUGH.......NOT GOING BACK IT HAS POTENTIAL BUT NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT OR GREENSKEEPER
Worth It
Second time playing and course is in great condition.
Layout is great and the greens are challenging.
I’m a local so I don’t pay the higher green fees but over all I would say it’s worth it.
GOLF BABY
Not bad, I felt valued this time around. Started was loud and available and keep me informed regarding my tee time. Club House cashiers were friendly and welcoming unlike 2yrs ago. Much improved experience this go around.
Perfect day!
It was a perfect day with a 6:30 tee time. The temperature was very moderate, the staff did a great job in welcoming us and getting us ready, the starter state on top of things, and we got out on time. Three and a half hours later we had finished our round and felt very good. We went inside and had lunch which was excellent. All in all a great day!
Great course
Really nice course, highly recommend playing here you’ll love it.
Great condition
Played here for the first time and was very impressed. Course layout and conditions were excellent. Staff friendly , greens beautiful, fairways excellent . Loved the course and will be back . Place I had to myself .
Broken Cart
We had a cart that didn't work properly and the bunkers are made of pure gravel.
I would not swing my clubs from the rock pebbles
Beautiful course
Highly recommend! Beautiful course. Excellent layout. We were in from out of state and are so happy we chose this course to play.
the course is beautiful and in such good shape. The starter was a nice guy we believe his name was Tim
