Rhodes Ranch Country Club
About
Hidden in the folds of the Southern Nevada desert is the lush oasis of Rhodes Ranch Golf Club. The abundance and variety of water features characterize the golf course. Ponds and lakes come into play frequently. There are also mature palms lining the gently rolling fairways and generous greens. The club is known for the immaculate maintenance of the verdant tropical landscape. The course is player-friendly while at the same time offering Las Vegas golfers some unexpected challenges. The layout boasts a set of four impressive par 3s including the scenic third hole, which requires a tee shot over a pond. The designer, Ted Robinson, touted the holes as the best he's ever designed. Rolling mounds and strategic bunkering as well as the occasional multi-tiered green make the golf course more difficult, but there are wide fairways and ample landing areas to provide a balance. The playability of the course combined with the reasonable rates, especially for Las Vegas golf, has earned the club a popular following.

Great conditions !
Lush green well manicured - water features in excellent condition as well. No bottled water or towels? Carts - no GPS.?
Very nice course/experience
I return to this course every time I visit LasVegas. It’s alway well maintained and the efficiency of the staff is excellent. My only criticism is it’s a little pricey and (as all LV courses) takes advantage of non-residents👎 [over 2X the Resident price]
Thank You for the feedback! We appreciate the kind words!
Good course for a mid handicapper.
First time playing an American desert resort course coming from the Melbourne Sandbelt.
Booking was easy, club house, driving range and staff all good. The course was very picturesque with some fabulous desert backdrops.
Playing off the black markers, the course was relatively short with the exception of a couple of longer par 5’s and 2 longer par 4’s.
The greens were in good condition but were quite slow and didnt always roll truly.
The only real negative were the hire clubs (LH) which for US $60 were max game improvement style, no lob wedge, not great!
We appreciate the feedback on the rentals. Its hard to please everyone and unfortunately the vast majority of people who rent clubs, need this style. However these are more middle of the road than max game improvement, but definitely not designed for low handicaps.
Holiday Golf
My first visit to a course in the U.S.A. It was an excellent experience. Staff in the pro shop were very friendly and knowledgeable. The course was in very good condition with varied holes. A very special thank you to Harold and John who I shared the round with for making it a pure pleasure. My only very minor complaint is for the cost of the hire clubs I would expect better. 2 or 3 of the irons looked like they had seen better days. That aside a perfect place for a round of holiday golf..
Thanks for the feedback on the rentals.
Thank You, We will get that 5th star next time! Nothing hurts worse than silance!
5 Stars Baby! Thank You!
Good value
Course was in really good shape. Toni and Vangoe were very friendly.
Thats great to hear! Toni and Vangie will be excited to hear as well.
Predatory Business
I am deeply disappointed in how this business operates with little regard for community safety or responsibility. After a recent incident where my property was damaged by an errant golf ball struck by an intoxicated patron, I was left to cover the cost out of my own pocket. It's unacceptable for a business to operate with impunity and shift the burden of responsibility onto residents and innocent bystanders.
As a resident, I am entitled to feel secure and safe. However, this establishment, under the leadership of Jin, the president of the golf course, has failed to take responsibility for the incident. Jin refused to address the issue or provide compensation, leaving residents exposed to potential harm and property damage.
I will be pursuing legal action for reimbursement, as no one should have to bear the consequences of poor business practices.
Warren,
We do apologize that this incident occurred and we wish there was more that we could do for you. Golfers aren't usually responsible for their errant shots unless it was done with malicious intent. I have sat through several court proceedings and the outcome on this is always the same. Judge will state something along the lines of, the golfer i feel is morally responsible for his shots but he is unfortunately not legally responsible, unless of course he did it with intent to cause harm or damage (malicious intent). That is very difficult if not impossible to prove.
As far as you living on a golf course, a simple browsing of your CC&R's and you will find a section on this exact issue under Easements for Golf Course. 13.7 - reads as follows as it pertains to your particular issue with the golf course operating under impunity, Under no circumstances shall any of the following persons be held liable for any damage or injury resulting from errant golf balls or the exercise of this easement: the Declarant; the association or its members (in their capacities as such): Rhodes Ranch Limited Partnership, its successors, successors-in-title to the golf course and so on....We aren't trying to put blame or anything on you, but if you moved onto to an established golf course, their are a few assumed liabilities. Golf balls being one of them.
We will not be threatened by someone who simply did not do his just diligence. Several homeowners have protected their home with a simple net or even upgraded their windows with higher impact resistant glass, hurricane glass is a popular choice.

Based on your review, we think your 5th star was held back for pace of play?
We will be adding GPS in late November.
